This guide may be distributed as long as credit is given where it is due. Any questions, please email me at switchblade6892@hotmail.com Table of Contents: 1-Astonia III 2-What is Alchemy 3-What do Potions do, and how you create them 4-What are the combinations ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Section 1: Astonia III. Astonia III Is a MMORPG, also known as a Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. Astonia III is pay-to-play. When you sign up you receive a free, one-month trial period. After the first month, you must pay $10 (U.S.) to continue playing on that account. Astonia's leveling system is based on kill experience that is received by killing different NPC's (Non Playable Characters) throughout the game. As you gain experience, you are able to spend it on different skills and spells, dependant on what class and race you are (Seyan, Warrior, and Mage). When you start the game, it will not be easy. The faster you start developing relationships with other players, the more likely you are to succeed. The game itself does not require you to be social, and it is possible to do well in it without being social; you will have a lot more fun, and go farther in the game if you have good friends. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Section II: What is Alchemy. What is alchemy you may ask? Alchemy in Astonia is the mixing of flowers, berries, and mushrooms to create a stat pot. Section III: What do Potions do, and how you create them. Potions add a certain amount of + to your stat modifiers, depending on the strength of the pot you make. Flowers determine what type of stat the potion modifies. The berry determines the duration of potion. The Mushroom(s) determine the strength of the potion. An Earthstone adds +0 to a potion, a Firestone adds +1 to a potion, a Icestone adds +2 to a potion, and a Hellstone adds +3 to a potion. To make a potion, take a Big (doesn't have to be big, but some potions can only fit into a big pot) Pot, that is empty, and begin putting your ingredients in. Once you have put in the ingredients, you have two choices. 1) You can shake the pot yourself (left-clicking on it). I would advise against this however unless your are a master alchemist or 2) ask a master alchemist to shake it for you, which will greatly increase the strength of your potion. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Section IV: What are the combinations. When you see something saying like A-Wisdom.the A means the flower that's name begins with "A". Potions 1 Flower potions: A - Wisdom B - Intuition C - Agility D - Strength E - Hitpoints F - Mana G - Endurance 3 Flower potions: AAE - Hitpoints + Wisdom AAF - Mana + Wisdom ABB - Bartering ABC - Tactics ABE - Heal ABF - Bless ACD - Parry AEF - Mana and HP AFE - Mana + Hitpoints BBC - Stealth BBE - Hitpoints + Intuition BBF - Mana + Intuition BCC - Surround Hit BCD - Attack BDG - Warcry BEF - Lightning CCB - Surround Hit CCD - Sword CCE - Body Control CCF - Mana + Agility CCG - Dagger CDE - Hand to Hand CDG - Staff CFG - Freeze DDE - Rage DDF - Immunity DDG - Pulse DEF - Fireball EEF - Magic Shield EFG - Hitpoints + Mana + Endurance FFG - Mana + Endurance 4-flower potions: ABCD - Parry + Attack BDEF - LF + Immunity CDEF - LF + Staff CEFG - LF + Dagger DEEF - Immunity + MS 5-flower potions: ABCCD - Sword + Parry + Attack ABCDD - TH + Parry + Attack CDDEF - Immunity + Parry + Attack BDDFG = LF + Imm + Pulse BDEEF = MS + LF + Imm BEEFG = MS + LF + Pulse DDEFG = MS + Imm + Pulse Berries Berries determine the duration of the potion that you are making. Berry B - 10 minutes Berry C - 20 minutes Berry D - 30 minutes Berry A - 60 minutes Mushrooms The suggested mushrooms that are to be used in potions are 1 "H" and 1 "I" mushroom. They can be bought for around 200g each, or collected in the sewer if you can handle the level 38 ratlings. The "A" mushroom is found in Skeleton 1, and "B-I" mushrooms are found in the sewers, accessible through Aston.
