Bug:
NHL Faceoff defaults to a 1 game series.  To get a 7 game series, start a 7 game playoff before the
end of the season.  You should now have anoption continue playoff.  When your season ends, it will
automatically
overwrite the old playoff, but keep the 7 game format in.

Perfect Player:
This cheat will give you a perfect player with an overall of 99. Just go to the
TEAM ROSTERS option and pick CREATE PLAYER. Look in the back of your NHL Faceoff
97 instruction book. Enter the name as one of the people from the CREDITS (I
preffer Alan Scales). Then put them as number 1, have their weight as 150, and
press triangle to exit (trust me). Go to the SIGN FREE AGENTS option. The player
you created will have a 99 on all of his skills (ex. shooting, passing, skating,
checking, etc.)! Sign him to any team you want to and go win the Stanley Cup!!!!!

Create Players:
I tried this tip for Nhl faceoff 97 and I found that after you put in one of
those names from the back of the book you can go to create a player and put in
your name or whatever you want. Also you can make a defenseman 99 as well. The
only thing you can't mess around with is the goalie or it will erase all the 99
stats.
