Save The Hidden Characters:
Here is how to keep the hidden characters saved on your memory card so that
you do not have to put the codes in every time you play!
To save M.Bison in memory you have to beat the game on 8 stars, without
changing characters, using someone whose end boss is Bison.
To save Akuma in memory you have to beat Akuma by getting to him with 10
super combo finishesmethod with 5 stars or more difficulty.
To save Dan in memory beat the CPU Dan on the game with 6 stars or more
difficulty. To get to him in the game after beatin the fifth, sixth or
seventh match hold Up+L2+R2 until the "Here comes a new challenger" appears
on the next match.e H
To save the Team Mode in memory all you have to do is get it by beating the
game on 5 stars without changing characters.
SAVE the game after achieving any of the above feats and you will now have
the character in memory and all you have to do is go to the question mark
and press down to get to your characters.

Fight against Akuma:
To fight against Akuma the easy way all you have to do is go the character you
want to choose and press and hold L2+R2+X until Akuma appears and waste your
enemy. This will give you a cool ending if you can beat him, but you will not
be able to save Akuma in memory without getting to him the hard way.

Secret Characters
======================================

NOTE: You can take your time with these codes... except for Dan. These
codes work regardless of how you have set your controller configuration.

-Akuma

1. On the character select screen put the cursor on the "?" box.
2. Hold L2 and do not let go.
3. On the D-Pad, push Out-Out-Out-Down-Down-Down.
4. After doing the D-Pad motions, push +[]. This gets you Akuma s black
costume.
or...
4. After doing the D-Pad motions, push X+O. This gets you Akuma s maroon
costume.

-Fighting CPU Akuma

1. Pick your character at the character select screen.
2. Immediately hold R1-R2-X.
3. Hold these buttons until you see Akuma do his "Bison Killer" onto your
next opponent.

-Dan

1. On the character select screen put the cursor on the "?" box.
2. Hold L2 and do not let go.
3. On the D-Pad, push -[]-X-O- . This gets you Dan s pink costume.
or...
3. On the D-Pad, push -O-X-[]- . This gets you Dan s green costume.

-Fighting CPU Dan

1. Fight in ARCADE MODE until your 5th fight. After the 5th fight has been
won, hold UP-L2-R2 until the next VS screen appears. You will know the code
has worked because at the VS screen, you will get a the message: A NEW
CHALLENGER HAS ENTERED (Like if 2P joins in.)

-M. Bison

1. On the character select screen put the cursor on the "?" box.
2. Hold L2 and do not let go.
3. On the D-Pad, push Out-Out-Down-Down-Out-Down-Down.
4. After doing the D-Pad motions, push +[]. This gets you M. Bison s red
costume.
or...
4. After doing the D-Pad motions, push X+O. This gets you M. Bison s gray
costume.

Team Mode
======================================

Team mode, which is a mode that a 1P Ryu and a 2P Ken can team-up against
M. Bison, can be accessed by beating the game on any difficulty setting
*above* 4 stars. You can continue as many times as you want... but you
*can't* change characters. Make sure you save your progress with your
memory card.

Other Notes
======================================

1. Akuma s Level 3 Super Combo, "The Bison Killer," has been changed. Its
now done like this:

Jab-Jab-F-Short-Fierce

2. Once you select a "secret character" with a code, you can pick him
without the code again. You do this by putting the cursor on the "?" and
simply pushing down to scroll through secret characters you've already
picked. So far, I m am able to save Dan onto my memory card. For some
reason M. Bison and Akuma can t be saved. This inability to save M. Bison
and Akuma also occurs on the Japanese version of SFA.

3. You can reset the game by pushing -O-[]-X-Start-Select-L1-L2-R1-R2 (all
buttons EXCEPT D-Pad). This can be done at any screen besides "Now
Loading."
