Introduction =============================================================================== King's Quest II is the second in a series of eight adventure games for the PC made by Sierra. After finding the three golden treasures for the king in the original game, Graham was made king. Once again, the game takes place in the magical land of Daventry, a magical land inhabited by characters like witches, mermaids and vampires. The princess has been captured in this game, and taken to a huge tower on a mysterious island. Strange doors have been appearing in the land which quote a riddle that must be solved before they open. It's up to Graham to explore the land of Daventry and open the three doors so that he can step into the mysterious land on the other side. =============================================================================== 2. BRACELET Found two screens north from the trident. It is not used. BROOCH Found in the hole in the rock one screen south from the monastery. It is not used. CAGE Found in Hagatha's cave. It is given to the woman in the antique's shop. CANDLE Found in the drawer at the top of the spiral steps in Dracula's castle. It is not used. CLOTH Found in Hagatha's cave. It is put over the cage. CUSHION Found in Dracula's coffin. It is not used. EARRINGS Found in the chest in the troll's house. They are not used. FISH Found on the land on the other side of the third door. It is used to ride to the island with the castle. GOLD KEY The sea king will give Graham the first gold key for the trident. It is used on the first door. GOLD KEY Found after the snake. It is used on the second door. GOLD KEY Found under the cushion in Dracula's coffin. It is used on the third door. GOODIES Found in the mailbox near the house. They are given to red riding hood. MALLET Found two screens north and one screen west from the monastery. It is used on Dracula. MEAT Found in Dracula's castle. It is given to the lion. NECKLACE Found in the log two screens south and one screen east from the stake. It is not used. NET Found on the other side of the third door. It is used to catch a fish. POT Found in the troll's house. It is not used. SHELL Found two screens north from the trident. It is not used. SILVER KEY Found in Dracula's coffin. It is not used. SOUP Found in the troll's house. It is given to the woman in the cottage. STAKE Found one screen east from the bracelet. It is used on Dracula. TIARA Found in the chest at the top of Dracula's castle. It is not used. Easter Eggs =============================================================================== 1. Once you've used the magic carpet to fly up into the clouds, walk along to the east until you find a rock. Look in the hole in the rock to watch a preview of Space Quest II. 2. Keep entering the area outside of the witch's cave, and eventually the Batmobile will appear from the cave. (Submitted by Micheal Bishop) 3. Walk up the beach until you get to the screen with the trident. Walk one screen east, and then one screen north to arrive in an area with lots of trees. Type "look sign" to get a message showing short descriptions of Space Quest I and King's Quest III.
