Enemies =========== Note that the enemy's first appearance is on the skill level "Ultra Violence" Zombieman: The weakest enemy in the game. Use any type of weapon on these, as they use a Pistol to attack you. In TNT, they are first found in Level 1: System Control, and in Plutonia, they are first found in Level 7: Caughtyard. Shotgun Guy: They are small as the Zombiemen, but these are much nastier and stronger. Use at least a Pistol to take these down, as these use their Shotguns to attack you. But you can at least pick up their Shotgun when you kill them. In TNT, first found in Level 1: System Control, found in Level 1: Congo, in Plutonia. Heavy Weapon Dudes: Now these are really annoying. Use at least a Shotgun to take these down, because these are equipped with a Chaingun, and on any skill level these can take you down fast. But you can take their Chaingun once you kill them. TNT, first found in Level 1: System Control, Plutonia, Level 1: Congo. Imp: These are small brown enemies on two legs. Instead of using weapons, these shoot fireballs at you, and they don't hurt that much. Use a Shotgun or better. TNT, first found in Level 1: System Control. Plutonia, Level 1: Congo. Demon: These enemies are bull-like, except these are on two legs. These enemies bite you for attacking, and these are really fast on Nightmare, so watch out. Use a Chainsaw, Shotgun, or better to defeat these. TNT, first found in Level 1: Congo, Plutonia, Level 2: Well of Souls. Spectre: Just like Demons, except these are a bit invisible. Use the tips above, and watch out for these in dark areas. TNT, first found in Level 2: Human BBQ, Plutonia, Level 2: Well of Souls. Lost Souls: Now these suckers are really annoying: These float in the air, and these are little skull heads. These are on fire and they ram at you for attacking. Use a Shotgun or better. TNT, first found in Level 3, Power Control, Plutonia, Level 2, Well of Souls. Cacodemon: Like Lost Souls, these float around in the air. Except these are bigger, and these are also red with 1 eye. The fire out fireballs at you for attacking. Use a Chainsaw, Shotgun, or better to take these down. TNT, first found in Level 2: Human BBQ, Plutonia, Level 1: Congo. Hell Knights: These are on two legs, and they are bigger than the Imps, Zombiemen, etc. These through fireballs at you for attacking, and these HURT on hard skill levels. Use a Super Shotgun or better to take these down. TNT, first found on Level 2: Human BBQ, Plutonia, Level 2: Well of Souls. Baron of Hell: Just like the Hell Knights, but these are darker, and much more powerful. They are tougher on the defense too. They throw fireballs at you too. TNT, first found on Level 2: Human BBQ, Plutonia, Level 3: Aztec. Arachnotron: These enemies are small spiders that make noises when they walk around. These fire Plasma like Cells at you, and they are a bit powerful. Use a Super Shotgun or better to take these down. TNT, first found in Level 4: Wormhole, Plutonia, Level 3: Aztec. Pain Elemental: These are extremely annoying. They don't attacking you, but these float in the air and release Lost Souls at you. Use a Super Shotgun or better to take these down. Like Cacodemons, these got 1 eye, but these are brown instead of red. TNT, first found in Level 2: Human BBQ, Plutonia, Level 1: Congo. Revenant: Another extremely annoying enemy. These are enemies on two legs and they have missile launchers strapped to their back. Their missiles are really annoying and powerful, and they can be normal or track you down (homing missile). If you're up close, these will punch you for attacking. Use a Super Shotgun or better to take these down. TNT, first found in Level 2: Human BBQ, Plutonia, Level 1: Congo. Mancubus: These are fat enemies on two legs. The pump missiles from their arms, and these really hurt too. Use at least a Super Shotgun to take these down. TNT, first found in Level 3: Power Control, Plutonia, Level 1: Congo. Archvile: Now these enemies are really deadly. These are skeleton like enemies on two legs, and they attack you by placing fire on you and then the Archvile explodes the fire. So, if you see fire on you, run out of the Archvile's sight, so he can't hit you. Archviles can also revive killed monsters (except for Spider Masterminds, other Archviles, Pain Elementals, Lost Souls, and Cyberdemons). TNT, first found in Level 3: Power Control, Plutonia, Level 1: Congo. Spider Mastermind: These are like Arachnotrons, except much bigger. Instead of firing Plasma cells at you, these have a Super Chaingun, and it's powerful. Use at least a Rocket Launcher to take these down. TNT, first found in Level 14: Steel Works, Plutonia, Level 5: Ghost Town. Cyberdemon: This enemy is a tall goat on two legs. One of its legs is metal. This bad boy fires out Rockets at you for attacking, and they are powerful. Use at least a Rocket Launcher to take these down. TNT, first found in Level 13: Nukage Processing, Plutonia, Level 6: Baron's Lair. =========== 3. Weapons =========== To switch to weapons, see my Controls section. Fist: Ugh, don't use this, your fist is really weak. Only use it when you get a Berserk pack. Otherwise, don't use this. Chainsaw: When you walk across a Chainsaw, it replaces your Fist. This is really strong, and best used on Demons, Spectres, and Cacodemons, because when you use it on these, they won't be able to attack you. But you need to get up close to attack. TNT, first found in Level 2, Human BBQ, Plutonia, Level 3: Aztec. Pistol: You start the game with this weapon. It is a bit weak, so use it on Zombiemen, Shotgun Guys, and Imps. You will always have this weapon. Shotgun: This weapon is powerful. Can knock out some of the weak enemies in 1 hit. Use this on Zombiemen, Imps, Shotgun Guys, Heavy Weapon Dudes, Demons, and Spectres. TNT, first found in Level 1: System Control, Plutonia, Level 1: Congo. Super Shotgun: My all time favorite Doom weapon. This is an extremely powerful weapon, and thankfully you can get it in the early levels. This can knock out most enemies in one hit, but this uses 2 shells, and takes a longer time to reload. Use this on anything except a Spider Mastermind and a Cyberdemon. TNT, first found in Level 3: Power Control, Plutonia, Level 1: Congo. Chaingun: Uses Pistol bullets, but this is stronger than the Pistol. Fires multiple rounds a shot. This can take down a bunch of really weak enemies that are in a group. Use this on Zombiemen, Shotgun Guys, Heavy Weapon Dudes, Imps, Demons, Spectres, Lost Souls, and Cacodemons. TNT, first found in Level 1: System Control, Plutonia, Level 1: Congo. Rocket Launcher: A really powerful weapon. Can take down many enemies in 1 hit. Use this on anything. Watch out, if the Rocket detonates too close to you, you can hurt yourself/suicide. TNT, first found in Level 3: Power Control, Plutonia, Level 1: Congo. Plasma Gun: Just like the Chaingun, this fires multiple rounds at once. Except this weapon uses Cell Projectiles, and they are powerful. Use this to take down anything. TNT, first found in Level 7: Prison, Plutonia, Level 4: Caged. BFG: The most powerful weapon in the game. Once this hits something, it's blast area will damage any enemies that you can see, and the blast area is powerful. Use this weapon on any enemy. TNT, first found in Level 15, Dead Zone, Plutonia, Level 11: Hunted. ========= 4. Items ========= ****** Ammo: ****** Pistol/Chaingun Ammo Small Ammo: Clip Large Ammo: Box of Bullets Shotgun Ammo Small Ammo: Shotgun Shells Large Ammo: Box of Shotgun Shells Rocket Launcher Ammo Small Ammo: Rocket Large Ammo: Box of Rockets Plasma Rifle/BFG 9000 Ammo Small Ammo: Cell PackLarge Ammo: Energy Cell Pack ********************************* Healing Items (and other types) ********************************* Health Bonus: Adds 1% health to your health. You can go over 100% health collecting these, but you stop at 200%. Armor Bonus: Adds 1% armor to your armor. You can go over 100% collecting these, but you stop at 200%. Stimpack: Adds 10% health. You cannot go over 100% using these. Medikit: Adds 25% health. You cannot go over 100% health using these. Combat Armor: Sets your armor to 100% if it is below 100%. Mega Armor: Sets your armor to 200%. Soulsphere: Adds 100% health. You can go over 100% health using this, but not over 200%. Backpack: When you pick up a backpack for the first time, it doubles your ammo capacity, adding ammo as well. It does add ammo when you pick up other backpacks. But if you die, you lose your backpack. Berserk Pack: A very useful item. If you are below 100% health, this will set your health to 100%. Better yet, this upgrades your Fist, and makes it very powerful, and can dispose of most enemies quickly. Also, the screen will be red for about 10 seconds, but when it goes to normal, it doesn't mean the effect whore off. This effect lasts until the end of the level you got it from, or when you die. Computer Area Map: Picking up one of these gives you a full Automap (no objectindicators though). In the Automap, areas you haven't explored are mapped in gray. Areas you've already seen are red. This effect lasts until the end of the level you got it from, or until you die. Watch out, some levels have 2 or more Computer Area Maps, and you can only pick up one, which means you can't a 100% items score. Radiation Suit: When you pick up one of these, the screen will go green until the effect wears off. When you pick up one of these, the effect is that you won't get hurt in toxic slime. The effect will wear off on a time limit. Light Amplification Visors: When picked up, the brightness greatly increases for an amount of time. These goggles are useful for getting pack darkareas/mazes. Invisibility Sphere: Picking up one of these makes you "invisible" for a short amount of time. You aren't completely invisible, these make it so it's harder for enemies to spot you, and when they attack, they may miss you. Invincibility Sphere: When one of these are picked up, you are invincible for a short amount of time, and the screen will go white while the effect lasts. A very good item, pick them up if you can. Megasphere: This is one awesome power-up. Once you pick one of these up, both your health and armor will go up to 200%. Use these when you're at low health. ************* Other Items ************* Keycard/Skull Keys: Found in levels, these keys come in 3 colors: red, yellow, and blue. Not all keys are in all levels, so keep that in mind. These keys open a locked door, activate certain switches, etc..... Also, many of the doors are not 100% blue, red, or yellow. If the door has red, yellow, or blue lights to the sides of it, that's also a red, yellow, or blue door. There may be a level with a Yellow and Red Key, but you may not need the Yellow Key to complete that level (that sentence right there is made up, just giving you a little example of that some keys in a level might not be needed to finish that level). ============ 5. Controls ============ ******************* Keyboard Controls ******************* Control: Fire, hold Control down to fire rapidly Arrow Keys: Move Shift (held) while moving: Run Alt (held) while moving: Strafe *Spacebar: Activate Switches, Open Doors, activate lifts, etc... Enter: Shows the last message that appeared in the top left corner in the Screen, or to select something in the menu Tab: View Automap Escape: View menu (this can be used anytime in the game, including at the title screen, and ending texture screen) *When I say "Check the walls", it means to press the spacebar in front of the wall. Also, when I say "Go through the Blue Door", that means open it, and enter the room. Also, when you beat a level, and it goes to the victory screen, press the Spacebar to go to the next level (this also goes for Stories too). **************** Mouse Controls **************** Even though the mouse is just as useful as the keyboard is, the mouse can turn your player in a direction more quickly than the keyboard does (but I prefer the keyboard). Anyway, here are the controls for the mouse (if you have mouse support for Doom). Also, there is no mouse button for opening doors, hitting switches, etc. You still need to use the keyboard. Move Mouse Right: Turns player right Move Mouse Left: Turns player left Move Mouse Up: Moves player forward Move Mouse Back: Moves player backward Left Mouse Button: Fire weapon Right Mouse Bottom (While held, moving left/right): Strafe left/right ***************** Automap Controls ***************** Tab: Switch back to first person mode Arrow Keys: Move Shift (Held) while moving: Run Alt (Held) while moving: Strafe-: Zoom out+: Zoom In 0: Full view of map M: Make check-mark on the spot you're in C: Clear all marks F: Follow Mode On/Off (when off you can scroll around the map, press F again to have the dot come back to you, and you can now go back to moving on the map)Escape: View menu ************************************************ "F" Functions (some only work during gameplay) ************************************************ F1: Read This! *F2: Save GameF3: Load Game F4: Sound Effects/Music F5: Change the Graphic Detail (High/Low)F6: Quicksave F7: End Game (Returns to Title Screen) F8: Turn Messages On/Off (the messages appear when you pick up an item, and they show the messages at the top left hand corner of the computer screen) F9: QuickloadF10: Quit Game F11: Gamma Correction (Adjusts brightness in 5 different levels) *You can save anytime in this game. You can save on your own if you use this walkthrough, but there are a few times where I suggest you to save. And if you are a beginner at Doom, I suggest you save often. ***************** Weapon Controls ***************** This shows which key you need to press to equip a weapon. 1. Fist/Chainsaw 2. Pistol 3. Shotguns (press 3 to switch between them once you have both) 4. Chaingun 5. Rocket Launcher 6. Plasma Gun 7. BFG 8. Chainsaw ========================== 6. Things to Look Out For ========================== What I mean is that watch out for these things. They can hurt you, depending on what you do. Some can be useful, so will not. Barrels: These can be your best friend, or your worst enemies. These are scattered around many levels, and can help you a lot. To make very good use of these, lure a lot of enemies to one barrel, and shoot the barrel. It should explode, and hurt/kill the enemies near it. Or if you shoot the barrel when you're right next to it, you'll be hurt/killed. Even enemies can blow up barrels, so you can use them to blow them up and save your ammo. Crushing Ceilings: Crushing Ceilings can appear at a nasty time, so watch out. Just like Barrels, these can be your best friend or worst enemy. These ceilings fall from the ceiling and touch the ground, and rise back to ceiling, and so on. You'll need to time your moves right to get past these. Also, their good use is that Crushing Ceilings can also crush and kill enemies, saving your ammo. But they can crush you too, and these do hurt. Slime/Lava/Blood: These appear on floors. Slime is green, lava is a mix of red and yellow, and blood is red. Whenever you step on these kinds of floors, there is a good chance your health will decrease each second. The amount of health decreased depends on your armor and what kind of toxic floor you stepped into. All types of toxic floors cannot hurt enemies, sadly. You will not be hurt from these floors if you step on them while having an active Radiation Suit on. ===================== 7. Walkthrough (TNT) ===================== Skill levels (from easiest to hardest): I'm Too Young To Die (Skill level 1) Hey, Not Too Rough (Skill level 2) Hurt Me Plenty (Skill level 3) Ultra Violence (Skill level 4) Nightmare (Skill level 5) Beware the Nightmare skill level. It is not for inexperienced Doom players. Enemies respawn, monsters are fast and powerful, but the good thing is you get double ammo when you pick up ammo, and you can get a kill percentage over 100 too. What I mean by double ammo is this: For example, when you pick up a box of Shotgun Shells on skill levels 2, 3, and 4, it will add 20 shells to your Shotgun Ammo, and 40 in skills 1 and 5. ID Software knows you'll need the double ammo in Skill 5. ;) Hint: Try to "telefrag" enemies. A telefrag is when you teleport using a teleporter, and an enemy is on the spot where you teleport to, he will be killed like that, without using any ammo to destroy it. The Status Bar: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 50 | 100% | 2 | 3 | 4 | | 0% |__| | |---|---|---|(your | |__| OTHER AMMO AMMO | HEALTH | 5 | 6 | 7 | face) | ARMOR | | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ammo: You'll see how many bullets you have for that weapon. Health: Your survival. When you drop to 0% health, you're dead. Arms: Shows which weapons you have, the weapon numbers you have are yellow (for example, if you have the Shotgun, just press 3 to get to it). Your Face: The marine's face. As your health goes down, your face will start to bleed, and gets worse as your health slithers away. Armor: Your armor helps you as it lasts. The boxes next to armor: In each box, it will show which keys you have. Other ammo: Shows how much ammo you have for each weapon, and shows how much ammo you can hold up to for each gun. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, here's the walkthrough (note that this walkthrough is not useful for skill level 5)! Also some enemies I tell you to kill in this game may not be there because of the skill level so if you don't see an enemy I told you to kill in this guide, then you're playing a low skill level. TNT starts out hard and tricky, but I think it gets easier as it goes. ************************* Level 1: System Control ************************* When you start this level, pick up the Berserk Pack in front of you, and open the door. In here, punch down the Zombiemen and Imps in front of you, and from where you entered this room, open the door to the left. In here, punch down the Zombiemen and Imps in here. See the two pillars? Facing the door, hit the switch on the pillar to the right. Now leave this room. Back out here, turn left and go through the opening, and right when you get it in, turn right, and go through the small opening (it has a door). Open the door. Out here, get the Stimpack in front of you, and get to the other end of the room. Over here, punch down the Imps, and get the Shotgun. Now leave this room. Back in here, turn right, and go through the opening. In here, kill the Demon and the Zombiemen in front of you. Hit the switch in this room. Turn around. You'll see stairs rise. Climb up the stairs, and at the top, get to the Blue Door. When you get to it, walk right up to it, and turn around. You should see a new opening. Go through it. Out here, go left, then left again. Over here, kill the Imps, and hit the switch, now leave this room. Back in here again, go down the stairs, and go through the opening across from you. In here, follow the hallway to a room. Back in here again, turn right, and go in the opening. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes, get their Chainguns, and get the Medikits. Now turn around, go straight, and get the Blue Key. When you have the Blue Key, go through the opening to your right, and head up the stairs. At the top, kill the Imp, and get the Armor. Now go back down the stairs, go right, and get back to the Blue Door. When you get to it, open it. Kill the Imp in front of you, and hit the switch. The floor you're on will lower. Down here, kill the Shotgun Guys in front of you, and collect the Armor Bonuses and hit the switch. When you hit the switch, go right, and hit the exit switch. ******************** Level 2: Human BBQ ******************** When you start the level, kill the Imps and Shotgun Guys in front of you. Hm, I wonder who hung that guy above the fire in the middle of the room. When they're all gone, look for a gray brick wall in this room. When you find it, walk up to it, and press the Spacebar to lower it. In here, turn left, then go all the way straight to the other end of the room, killing any Demons, Heavy Weapon Dudes, or Imps in your way. When you get to the other end of the room, turn left, and head up the stairs. At the top, collect the Red Key. Now turn around, go back down the stairs, and at the bottom, go straight, then go through the opening to the right. Out here, turn left, and head down the stairs. Down here, turn around, and get to the other end of the room, killing any Zombiemen or Shotgun Guys in your way. NOTE: Watch out for the pesky Shotgun Guys on the pathways above you. They can be annoying and take you down easily, so shoot them if you need to. When you get to the other end of the room, turn right, and you should see the Red Door. Get to it, and open it. In here, go right, and through the opening. In this room, collect the Backpack in the center of the room (it's in the water). Once you have it, with your back on the opening you came out of, go right and get to the other end of the room, killing any Zombiemen or Shotgun Guys in your way. NOTE: The above ledges contain Heavy Weapon Dudes on higher skill levels. Shoot these guys down too, or they can take you down easily. Over here, turn left. You should see a switch. Go up to it and activate it, killing the Imp and the Demon in front of you. Once you hit the switch, exit this room (and watch out for the Pain Elemental, the Cacodemons, and the Demon). Also go through the Red Door. Back out here again, go all the way left to the other end of the room. Over here, turn around and head up the stairs. Up here, go right, and go in the opening. In this room again, go through the opening across from you. In this portion of the room, you should see a window in front of you that lets you view the Red Door room. See the staircase in the room you're looking in? Back up a little bit, and then *run* to get on the staircase (kill the Pain Elemental/Cacodemons if they are in your way). If you get on the staircase, follow it to the top, and at the top, head right. Follow this pathway to the Yellow Key. Once you have the Yellow Key, drop down to the floor below you, and backtrack to the room where you got the Red Key. Once you get to the Red Key room, open the Yellow Door (it's near the Red Key). In here, follow this pathway to the exit door, killing any Hell Knights, Heavy Weapon Dudes, or Imps in your way. Once you get to the exit door, open it. Kill the Heavy Weapon Dude/Revenant in front of you, and hit the exit switch. *********************** Level 3: Power Control *********************** Open the door in front of you. In here, take either path to the other end of the room, killing any Shotgun Guys, Zombiemen, or Imps in your way. When you get to the other end of the room, go through the opening, and get the Chaingun. Now turn around, and press the switch on the wall in front of you. The wall will open, revealing a Spectre and a Teleporter. Kill the Teleporter and the Spectre. Once you teleport, go straight into the room in front of you. In here, kill the Shotgun Guys and Imps, and open the door. In here, go left, and then open the door to your right, killing any Imps or Spectres in your way. Once you open the door, head up the stairs to your right, killing any Spectres, Shotgun Guys, or Imps in your way. At the top, take the teleporter to your right. In this room, pick up the Red Key in front of you. Now turn around and go through the teleporter you just used to get here. Back in this room, go right, and head down the stairs, killing any Spectres, Shotgun Guys, or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. At the bottom of the stairs, go in the opening to your left. Out here, follow the left wall to the north part of the room (use Automap to check), killing any Shotgun Guys or Cacodemons in your way (pick up the Backpack you'll see too). When you get to the north part of this room, go in the opening, and open the Red Door in front of you. In here, go all the way right then open the door to your left, killing any Imps, Shotgun Guys, or Spectres in your way. When you open the door, go inside, and hit the switch to your left. Now turn around, get to the other end of the room, and turn left, and then cross the new bridge to the other end of the room. Over here, kill the Demons and the Lost Souls, and get the Yellow Key in front of you. Once you have the Yellow Key, turn around, cross the bridge, and leave this room, killing any Imps, Revenants, or Shotgun Guys in your way. Back in this room, turn right, get to the other end of the room, and open the door to you left. Back out here, go in the opening in front of you, and follow the left wall to an opening. When you get to it, go in it. In here, open the Yellow Door. In this room, take either path to the other end of the room, killing any Shotgun Guys, Imps, Heavy Weapon Dudes, Revenant, or Spectres in your way. Once you get to the other end of the room, get the Blue Key. Now leave this room. Back out here, go in the opening across from you, and out here, follow the left wall to an opening, and go through it. In here, open the Blue Door. In here, get to the other end of the room, killing the Mancubi in front of you. When you get to the other end of the room, open the Blue Door. When you open it, kill the Revenant in front of you, and hit the exit switch. ******************* Level 4: Wormhole ******************* When you start the level, kill the Shotgun Guys in front of you. When they're dead, go all the way straight to the center of the room. See the platform with the Rocket Launcher on it? Walk up to the platform, and press the Spacebar to lower it. Now get the Rockets and the Rocket Launcher, and then the wall in front of you will lower, revealing Heavy Weapon Dudes. Kill them all. When they're dead, pick up their Chainguns. Now, get back to the level's starting point. Facing the platform where the Rocket Launcher was on, there are two openings. One to the left and one to the right. Take the one on the right. In here, head up the stairs and get to the top, killing any Shotgun Guys, Heavy Weapon Dudes, or Spectres in your way. At the top of the stairs, open the door to your left. In here, kill the Imps and the Revenant in front of you. When they're dead, walk forward until the floor you're on will lower. When it does, collect the Box of Rockets near you, and stay on the floor you're on. Wait for it to rise to the top. Once it does, go through the door we used to get to this room. Back in this room, head down the stairs until you see an opening to your left. In the opening, kill the Shotgun Guys and the Hell Knight, collect the Armor, and hit the exit switch. **************** Level 5: Hanger **************** When you start the level, you'll be facing a black wall with 4 T.V. screens on it. Walk right to it, and turn around. You'll see a new opening, revealing a Shotgun Guy. Kill it, and go in the opening it came out of. In here, walk up to the wall, and turn around. You'll see a new opening across from you, revealing another Shotgun Guy. Kill it, go in the opening it came out of, and walk up to the wall in front of you. Now, turn around, and leave this little opening. Back out here, you'll see a new opening to your left, revealing another Shotgun Guy. Kill it, and go through the opening it came out of. In here, walk up to the wall in front of you, and it will open, revealing an Imp. Kill it, and turn around. You'll see another new opening, revealing a Shotgun Guy. Get rid of it, and go through the opening it came out of. In here, walk up to the wall in front of you. Now turn around and leave this little opening. You'll see a new opening to your left. Go through it, and get to the other end of this hall. When you do, head up the staircase to your left. At the top, open the door. In here, head right, then left down the stairs, killing any Imps in your way. Down here, head left to the door in front of you, killing any Imps in your way. When you get to the door, open it. In here, head left down the stairs. Down here, go left and go through the opening, killing the little Imp in front of you. In here, head up the stairs. At the top, go right, and kill the Imp in front of you. Now follow this hall until you see an opening to your left. When you see the opening go through it. Before you do anything, get rid of the Imps, Heavy Weapon Dudes, and Shotgun Guys. With the enemies gone and with your back against the opening you just came out of, get to the other end of the room. Over here you'll see a gray tile on the wall. Walk up to it and press the Spacebar on it. Now turn around. You should see one of the platforms in front of you lower, so get on it and pick up the lowered Energy Cell. Once you grab the Energy Cell, turn around. You should see part of the wall lower, revealing the Blue Key. Go straight and get it. Now leave this room. Back out here, head right and follow this hall to a staircase, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the staircase, head down it. At the bottom, turn left, then right. Now head through the opening to your right, and go up the stairs. At the top, open the door. Back out here, kill the Zombiemen, Shotgun Guys, Imps, and Heavy Weapon Dudes to your right. When they are dead, go straight until you see a staircase to your right, when you see it, go up the stairs. At the top, open the door to your right. In here, head left down the stairs, and at the bottom, go through the opening to the right. Back down here, go straight until you see a door to your left. When you see it, open it. Now go through. In here, kill the Imps in front of you, and open the Blue Door. In here, go all the way left until you get to a wall, and then turn left. Now go through the small opening to your left. In here, get the Yellow Key. Once you have the Yellow Key, leave this room. Back in here, open the door across from you. In here, go right until you get to the other end of the room, and over here, head up the stairs to your left. At the top, open the door. Back in this room, turn right, and head left down the stairs. Down here, walk up to the wall in front of you (it's a door). When you get in front of the wall, press the Spacebar to open it. Now go through. Out here, go all the way left until you get to a wall. Now turn left and blow up the barrels in front of you. With the barrels gone, open the Yellow Door in front of you. In here, follow this hall to a teleporter, killing any Shotgun Guys or Imps in your way. When you get to the teleporter go through it. When you teleport, go all the way right until you get to the other end of the room, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes or Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the other end of the room, blow up the barrel in front of you, and with it gone, you can go through the opening. In here, get the Red Key. Once you have the Red Key, turn around. Now drop down to the floor to the right, and down here, go straight and get to the other end of the room. Over here, head up the stairs and at the top, open the door. In here, go up the stairs in front of you, go right, and open the door over here. In here head down the stairs to the left, then at the bottom go through the opening to your right and down here, go all the way straight to the other end of the room. Over here, open the Red Door. In here, hit the exit switch. *********************** Level 6: Open Season *********************** When you start the level, pick up the Shotgun, its ammo, and the health in front of you. Then the floor you're on will rise. Up here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dude to your right and the Shotgun Guys to your left. Pick up the weapons they drop, and open the only door in this room. In here, kill the Imps in front of you, and then follow the left wall to a door. When you get to the door, open it. In here, head up the stairs to your left, killing the Heavy Weapon Dude in front of you. At the top, get the Medikit, and open the door. In here, follow the left wall to a door, killing any Demons in your way. When you get to the door, open it. In here, kill the Imps and Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. Now, go straight and get to the other end of the room. Over here, go right, and head up the stairs in front of you. At the top, go through the opening across from you. In here, kill the Shotgun Guys, get their Shotguns, and follow this hall to a door. Open it. Kill the Shotgun Guy in front of you, get its Shotgun, and follow this hall to an opening, killing the Lost Souls in your way. When you get to the opening go through it. In here, follow the pathway you're on to the Blue Key, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. Once you have the Blue Key, turn around and get back to the opening. Now leave this room. Back in here, head right and get to the other end of the room. Over here, open the door. Back in this room, follow the hall you're in to an opening. Go through it. Back in this room, turn right, and go through the opening in front of you. In here, open the Blue Door. In this room, follow this hall/pathway to a door, killing any Shotgun Guys or Cacodemons in your way. When you get to the door, open it. In here, get the Radiation Suit, and from the door, step on the tile to your right. When you do, the floor you're on will lower. Down here, kill the Imps. When they're dead, follow this hall to an opening, and go through. In here, follow the thin pathway in front of you to the Yellow Key, killing any Cacodemons in your way (walk on the pathways slowly). When you get to the Yellow Key, get it, turn around, and follow this pathway back to the opening, and when you get to the opening, go through, and follow this hall to a lift. When you get to the lift lower it, and when it lowers completely, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, open the door, and follow this hall/pathway back to the Blue Door. Go through, head down the stairs, and back in this room, get to the other end of the room, and hit the switch. Now turn around, and go straight until you see an opening to your left. When you see it, go through it. In here, head down the stairs, and go through the opening at the bottom. Down here, open the door across from you. In here, follow the left wall to a door, killing any Imps, Mancubi, or Hell Knights in your way. When you get to the door, open it. In here, follow the left wall to a lift (the lift is the brown wall you'll see), killing any Revenants, Zombiemen, or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the lift, lower it, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, go through the opening to your right. In here, follow this hall to a teleporter, and go through it. In here, hit the switch, and the lift to the left of you will lower. Kill the Imp, get on the lift, and ride it to the top. Up here, go right and get the Red Key, killing any Imps in your way. Once you have the Red Key, backtrack to where you got the Blue Key (there was a switch in front of the Blue Key, and you need the Red Key to activate it). When you get back to where the Blue Key was, hit the switch. Once you hit the switch, turn around. Now follow this pathway to the opening. Now go through. In here, head right and open the door. In here follow this hallway to an opening. Go through, and in here, head through the opening in front of you. In here, head down the stairs, and at the bottom, go through the opening, and in here, turn right, and go through the new opening to your right. In here, follow this hallway to a switch. Hit it. The wall to the left of you will lower, revealing an Arachnotron/Archvile. Kill whatever's there, and step on the floor it was on (it's the exit teleporter). You will now exit the level. Before you start the next level, you get a story: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You've fought your way out of the infested experimental labs. It seams that UAC had once again gulped it down. With their high turnover, it must be hard for poor old UAC to buy corporate health insurance nowadays... Ahead lies the Military Complex. Now swarming with diseased horrors hot to get their teeth into you. The Complex still has some warlike ordnance laying around. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***************** Level 7: Prison ***************** When you start the level, go straight and pick up the Plasma Gun in front of you. Now follow this hall to a door. Open it. In here, follow the left hand wall to an opening, killing any Zombiemen or Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the opening, go in it. In here, head up the stairs, killing the Imps in your way. At the top, get to the center of the platform in front of you. You'll see the wall to your left lower, revealing a teleporter. Go through it. Out here, go all the way left until you get to a pit. Don't go in it. Now, go all the way left until you get to a wall, killing any Imps, Demons, Spectres, or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. Now, go all the way right until you get to a set of teleporters. Go through them. When you teleport, kill the Demon and the Lost Souls in front of you. Now, open the door in this room. In here, follow this hall to a lift, killing any Imps, Demons, Spectres, Zombiemen, Hell Knights, Shotgun Guys, or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the lift, lower it, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, kill the Shotgun Guy in front of you, and hit the switch to your left. Now, turn around, and go through the opening in front of you. In here, head left until you hear the sound of a lift lower. Go back through the opening, and you'll notice that the platform with the Soulsphere has been lowered. Pick it up, and go back through the opening. Back out here, you'll see a ledge you can jump off of in front of you. Get to the ledge, and drop down to the ground below you. Down here, head left, and kill all enemies in front of you. In front of you, you should see a new platform leading to the center of the room. Cross it, and over here, head right until you get to the gray building in front of you. Now, before you hit the switch on it, check this map: X _______S__ | | | | | | |__________| |__________| Say the X is you, and the S is the switch. When you hit the switch, a lift in front of you will lower, revealing a teleporter. But before you go in it, get to the other side of this building (be quick), and you'll find another part has lowered, revealing an Invincibility Sphere. Grab it, and ride this lift to the top. Up here, take the teleporter in front of you. When you teleport, hit the switch behind you, and the floor you're on will lower. Down here, kill all the Hell Knights and Imps around you. When they are all dead, head to the Northeast corner of the room. Over here, check the walls until a door opens. Now, go through the new opening. In here, hit the switch, and leave this room. Back out here, *run* to the southwest corner of this room, and go through the opening over here. In here, hit the switch, and leave this room. Back out here, *run* all the way to the northwest corner of this room. Over here, go through the new opening. In here, hit the switch, and leave this room. Back out here, *run* to the southeast corner of the room, and go through the new opening here. In here, get the Red Key, and go through the teleporter. When you teleport, open the Red Door in front of you, and go through. In here, go all the way straight until you get to a gap, killing any Imps, Heavy Weapon Dudes, Demons, Hell Knights, or Spectres in your way. When you get to the gap, drop down to the right, and down here, follow the right hand wall to a pillar. When you get to the pillar, lower it. Now, go straight until you get to the switch to your left. Hit it, and go back and lower the pillar. When it lowers, get on the pillar, and when it gets its highest, *run* to get on the platform right next to you. Now, follow the wall in front of you (either hand) to a teleporter), killing any new Cacodemons in your way). When you get to the teleporter, step on it. When you teleport, slowly *run* across the platforms in front of you to the exit door, killing the Imps in your way. When you get to the exit door, open it, and in here, kill the enemies, and hit the exit switch. **************** Level 8: Metal **************** When you start the level, kill the Zombiemen and Shotgun Guys in front of you. Now, go straight into the opening, then left, then right. In here, open the door. In here, head up the stairs in front of you. At the top, go up the stairs to your right, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. Up here, head left, and open the door. In here, get to the other end of the room. Over here, open the door. In here, kill all the Heavy Weapon Dudes, Shotgun Guys, Lost Souls, and Imps in front of you. With your back against the door, check the walls to your right until you find a hidden door. When it opens, go through. In here, follow this hallway to a switch, killing the Shotgun Guys and Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. When you get to the switch, hit it. Now the floor you're on will lower. Kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, and when the floor rises again, turn back around, and leave this room (watch out for the Lost Souls and the Heavy Weapon Dudes. Back in this room, go through the new opening to your right. In here, pick up the Red Key in front of you. Now turn around. You'll see a wall rise in front of you, blocking the opening. But now, go through the new opening to your right. Over here, there is a wall lowering, revealing a switch, a Cacodemon, Demons, and Shotgun Guys. Now hit the switch, the wall that was blocking the opening will now lower. Go back through the opening. In this room again, open the door in front of you, and leave this room. Back in this room, get to the other end of this room. Over here, open the Red Door on this side of the room, and go through. In here, head left, and follow this hallway to a door. When you get to the door, open it. In here, head down the stairs in front of you (long staircase, isn't it?). Down here, kill all the Imps, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. Now, go through the opening to your left. In here, you'll see two switches. Hit the one on the left. Turn around and you'll see a pillar rising. When it's finished rising, turn around and hit the switch to the right. It will lower the pillar. When it gets to the ground, get on it and ride it to the top. But instead of riding it to the top, you'll come across a platform. *Run* towards the platform to get on it. When you land on the platform, the wall in front of you will open, revealing Imps, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes, and a switch to the way left. Kill all the enemies, and go all the way left and get to the switch. Hit it. Now turn around, and jump off the platform. Down here, head all the way straight and go through the new opening across from you. In here, kill the Shotgun Guys in front of you. In this opening are also two switches. Hit the one on the right first. Leave this opening, and turn right. You'll see another pillar rise. When it's done rising, go back through the opening and hit the left switch. The pillar will now lower. When it gets to the ground, get on it, and ride it to the top. But you'll come across a platform, so *run* towards the platform to get on it. Once you get on the platform, the wall in front of you will open, revealing Imps, Spectres, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes. Also there is a switch to your right. Get to the switch, and hit it. Now turn around, and drop off the platform. Down here, go through the new opening to your left. In here, kill the Shotgun Guys and the Imp in front of you, and try to go straight to the switches in front of you. Instead, you'll be teleported. When you teleport, turn around, and walk to the wall. It will open. Now kill the Imps, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, and hit the switch to the right. When you hit the switch, turn around, and drop down to the floor below you. Down here, go through the new opening to your left, and in here, kill the Imps and the Shotgun Guys in front of you. Also in here are two switches. Hit the one on the right, and then the wall to the right of you will open. Go through the new opening, killing the Shotgun Guy in front of you. Follow this hall to a lift. When you get to the lift, lower it. Once the lift it finished lowering, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, walk up to the wall to the left, and it should open, revealing Imps, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes, and a switch to the far right. Kill all the enemies, then go all the way right. Hit the switch over here. Now drop down off the platform you're on. Down here, go all the way straight and go into the new opening across from you (where the Arachnotrons are). In here, kill/avoid the Arachnotrons, open the exit door, and hit the exit switch. ********************* Level 9: Stronghold ********************* Be aware, there a plenty of enemies in this level (297 on Ultra Violence!!). Many of them will appear in clusters/groups. They're mostly Zombiemen/Shotgun Guys/Heavy Weapon Dudes, so a Super Shotgun, a Plasma Gun, or a Rocket Launcher can take them down within 5 seconds (1 hit from a Super Shotgun or Rocket Launcher may take down 3-5 enemies in a group). When you start the level, open the door to your right (kill the Shotgun Guy in front of it). In here, kill the Zombiemen and Shotgun Guys in front of you, and go through the opening to the right. In here, kill all the Zombiemen, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes, get their ammo, and hit the switch in this room. Now, head back down the stairs, and go through the opening to the right. In here, follow this hall to a door (don't worry, the Shotgun Guys you see can't attack), and open it. Kill all the Zombiemen, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. When they are all dead, go left. Over here, go through the opening to your right, and hit the switch in here. Now, the wall to your right is lowering, revealing a Shotgun Guy. Kill it. Now, turn around and leave this little room. Back out here, go through the door to your left again. In here, follow the right wall to a switch. Hit it. The floor you're on is a lift, and the lift will lower. Down here, kill the Zombiemen, Shotgun Guys, and Imps in front of you. When they are all dead, get to the two switches in the middle of the room. Hit the one on the right. Now, turn around, and hit the switch to lower the left again. Get on it, and ride it to the top. Back up here, head left, and open the door. In here again, go left, and over here, go through the opening to your left. In here, kill all the Zombiemen, Shotgun Guys, Imps, and Heavy Weapon Dudes. When they are all dead, get to the center of the room. You should be in front of a gray wall, and part of it is silver. Press the Spacebar on the silver part, and it should lower like a lift. Get on the lift, and ride it to the top. Up here, hit the switch, and then drop down to the floor below you. Down here, get to the opening in this room. Instead, get to the tall crate next to you, and head up the stairs leading to it. Up here, *Run* left, to get to the platform with the Red Key on it. Get the Red Key, drop down to the floor below you, and leave this room. Back in here, head right, and open the door. In here, go through the opening to the left. In here, head up the stairs in front of you, killing any Shotgun Guys or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. Up here, you'll see two openings to your left. Go through the one that's not right next to you. In here, hit the switch that has Red Lights next to it. Now, leave this little opening, head back down the stairs, and leave this room, killing any Imps, Shotgun Guys, or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. Down here again, head left, and follow this hallway until you get to a set of silver bars. When you see them, walk up to them and press the Spacebar, and they will open. In here, kill the Imps and Shotgun Guys in front of you, and head right. Over here, hit the switch that has Red Lights next to it. When you hit it, the door to your left will open. Go through it. In here, kill all the Imps, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. When they are all dead, go through the opening at the other end of the room. In here is a room full of crates. From the opening, turn and look left. You should see a small crack through the crates and you should see a barrel. Blow it up (you'll need to). Now, face straight. See that small crate on the ground? Get on top of it. Now, face straight, and you should see two more crates (one is smaller than the other). Face the smaller one, and *run* to get on top of that crate. Now, face the crate just to the right of it, and get on top of it. On top of this crate, go straight and drop down to the floor below you. Down here, go through the opening to your left. In here, open the door to your left. In here, open the door. Open the door in here, and go through. Keep opening these doors and going through until you see a staircase to your left, killing any Imps, Shotgun Guys, or Demons in your way. When you see the staircase, head up it, killing any Imps, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. At the top, face left, and you should see the Blue Key on the crate. *Run* to the crate to get on it. On here, get the Blue Key (that's what you needed to blow up the barrels for, otherwise you wouldn't be able to cross the gap). When you have the Blue Key, drop down to the floor below you, and go through the opening to your right. Back in here, go through the opening at the other end of the room. In here, hit the switch on the wall in the center of the room, and it will open like a door. Kill the Shotgun Guy in here, and hit the switch that has the Blue Lights next to it. Turn around, and you'll see a new opening. Go through it, and kill all the Imps, Heavy Weapon Dudes, and Shotgun Guys in front of you. When all of the enemies are dead, go in the room they were in, and open the door to your right. In here, kill the Zombiemen and Shotgun Guys in front of you, and go straight to the pit in this room. Take either pathway to the right or left to get to the other end of the room. Over here, go in the small silver opening, and the floor you're on will lower like a lift. Down here, hit the switch in front of you, turn back around and get back on the lift. Ride it to the top again. From here, backtrack to the room that lead to the little room that had the switch with Blue Lights next to it. Back in here, open the Blue Door. In here, head down the stairs. Down here, kill the Imps, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. When they are all dead, go through the opening to your left. In here, kill the Imps, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, and open the Exit Door at the other end of the room. In here, hit the exit switch. ********************** Level 10: Redemption ********************** When you start the level, kill the Zombiemen in front of you, and get to the other end of the room. Over here, open the door. In here, kill the Shotgun Guys and Imps in front of you, and get the Box of Shotgun Shells to your left. Now, get to the other end of the room, and hit the switch, and the door to your left will open. In here, lower the lift in front of you, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, get the MegaArmor in the center of the room, and hit the switch to your right. Then turn around and you'll see a new room with Imps. Kill them all, and go in the room they came out of. In here, get the Box of Bullets and the Medikits in here. Now, where the switch was, jump out of either window to the left or right, and you'll get back to the start. Back down here, kill the Imps, Shotgun Guys, and the Mancubus in front of you, and now go up the new set of stairs in this room. Up here, go through the opening. In here, follow the hall to the right until you see an opening to your right. When you see it, go through it. In here, go straight, then head up either staircase to the left or right, killing any Arachnotrons, Revenants, or Pain Elementals in your way. At the top of either staircase, you should see a pedestal rise in front of you. Hit the switch on it (kill the Pain Elemental too), then turn around and get to the other staircase across from you. At the top of this staircase, walk forward and then the pedestal will rise. Kill the Pain Elemental up here, and hit the switch on this pedestal. Now turn around, go straight, then go right/left (depending on which staircase you took), and you'll see the Yellow Key. Use the steps in front of you to get the Yellow Key. When you have the Yellow Key, turn around, and *RUN* straight to exit this room (you don't want to be caught with Imps and a Baron of Hell teleporting at you). Back out here, get to the Yellow Bar to your left. Press the Spacebar in front of it to open it. In here, take either staircase to the left or right, and down here, get the Red Key at the other end of the room (don't worry, the pillar it's on is low enough for you to get the Red Key). Now, turn around, head up either staircase again, and exit this room (watch out for the Mancubi, Revenants, Heavy Weapon Dudes, Shotgun Guys, and the Imps as you leave). In this room again, go right, and get all the way back to the level's starting point. Back in this room, open the door in here, and in here, kill the Hell Knight in front of you. Now hit the switch in here to open the door again, go through, lower the lift, and ride it to the top. Remember this room with the MegaArmor? Now with the Red Key, open the Red Door in this room. In here, head down the stairs. Down here, follow the left wall to the exit door, killing the Hell Knight in front of you. When you get to the exit door, open it, kill the Imp in front of you, and hit the exit switch. **************************** Level 11: Storage Facility **************************** When you start the level, pick up the Shotgun and its ammo in front of you, and go through the opening to your right. Out here, go left to the fence. Over here, go through the opening in the middle. Over here, go all the way right and go through the two openings in front of you, killing any Imps in your way. When you get through both openings, follow the left wall until you get to a door, killing any more Imps in your way. When you get to the door, skip it, and keep following the wall to another door. When you get to it, open it. In here, follow the left wall until you get to a staircase of little crates, killing any Zombiemen in your way. When you get to the staircase of crates, go up them. Up here, turn around and you should see another staircase of crates in front of you. Go straight and go up the staircase of crates. Up here, get the Blue Key. Once you get the Blue Key, turn around, and you'll see another staircase of crates in front of you. Up here, *run* straight to get to the platform in front of you. When you get on it, drop down to the floor below you. Down here, go straight until you see a door to your right (it's the Blue Door). When you see the door, open it, and go through. In here, *run* across the platforms in front of you to get to the other end of the room, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the other end of the room, kill the Shotgun Guys over here, and collect their Shotguns. Now open the Exit Door next to you. In here, kill the Shotgun Guys, get all the ammo and health, and hit the exit switch. Now, before you start the next level, you get a little story: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You hear the grinding of Heavy Machinery ahead. You sure hope they're not stamping out new Hellspawn, but you're ready to ream out a whole herd if you have to. They might be planning a blood feast, but you feel about as mean as two thousand maniacs packed into one mad killer. You don't plan to go down easy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ****************** Level 12: Crater ****************** When you start the level, get the Shotgun in here, and open the door. In here, go all the way straight until you see a door to your right, killing any Zombiemen, Shotgun Guys, or Imps in your way. When you see the door, open it. In here, get the Blue Key at the other end of the room, and then leave this room. Back out here, go through the opening in front of you. In here, go left, into another room. In here, open the Blue Door to the right. In here, head down the stairs in front of you. Down here, go all the way straight to the other end of the room. Now, go all the way left to the big opening across from you. When you get to it, go straight, through the opening across from you. In here, head through the opening to the left, and go up the stairs. Up here, kill the Baron of Hell, get all the ammo and health, and get the Red Key. Now, backtrack all the way to the Blue Door. When you get to it, go left. Now follow this hallway until you see the Red Door to your right, killing any Shotgun Guys or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you see the Red Door, open it, and go through. In here, hit the switch and the floor you're on will lower. Down here, go left, then right. Now, get to the other end of the room, killing any Zombiemen or Imps in your way. When you get to the other end of the room, the wall in front of you should be silver and blue. Now, press the Spacebar on it and it will lower, revealing a new opening and an Archvile. Kill the Archvile, and go through the new opening (if you can't see it, lower the wall again). In here, go straight and you should come to a staircase, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the staircase, go up it. Up here, go straight and get to the exit switch, killing the Arachnotrons in front of you. When you get to the exit switch, hit it. ***************************** Level 13: Nukage Processing ***************************** See that crate to the right of you at the start? Get in front of it, and press the Spacebar. It will lower, revealing an opening. Go through. Out here, use your Automap to get to the Northeast part of the room, killing any Revenants, Mancubi, or Demons in your way. When you get to the Northeast part of this area, open the door on the building over here. In here, kill/avoid the Revenant, get the Yellow Key, health, and ammo, and leave this room. Back out here, follow the right hand wall to a door, killing any Revenants or Demons in your way. When you get to the door, open it. In here, kill the Mancubus in front of you, and get to the middle of the room. Now, go all the way right to the wall in front of you. When you get to it, walk up to it, and it will lower like a lift. When it lowers, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, kill the Shotgun Guys/Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, and open the Yellow Door across from you. In here, go straight until you see an opening to your left, killing any Zombiemen or Shotgun Guys in your way. When you see the opening, go through it, and in here, head up the stairs. Up here, follow the left wall to a switch. When you get to it, hit it. Now, turn left, and you'll see a new platform in front of you. Get in center with it, and *run* straight to get to the platform. On here, kill the Cacodemons and the Pain Elementals, and get the Red Key. Now, go back to where you hit the switch. Back up here, facing the switch, turn around. You'll see a switch in between Red Lights and a door. Hit the switch, and the door will open. Now go through. In here, take the teleporter. When you teleport, follow the hall to another teleporter, killing any Shotgun Guys and Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way (get the Health and Armor Bonuses you'll see to). When you get to the teleporter, take it. When you teleport, kill the Shotgun Guys in front of you, get their Shotguns, and turn left. You should see a platform with the Blue Key and Boxes of Bullets on it. *Run* to get to the platform. When you get to it, get the Blue Key and the ammo (if you can't get to it, then kill the Mancubi below you so you can pass by). Now, drop down to the floor below you. Down here, go all the way straight to the door across from you (you'll see two windows to your left showing another room, and in the room is a pillar lowering, revealing a Cyberdemon on skills 4 and 5, but ignore it). When you get to the door, open it. Back in this room, go all the way straight to the opening across from you. In here, walk up to the wall in front of you, and it will lower like a lift. Get on the lift, and ride it to the top. Up here, kill the Shotgun Guys/Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, and open the Blue Door in front of you. In here, go all the way straight to the other end of the room, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the other end of the room, hit the switch in front of you, and the door to your left will open. Go through now. In here, walk up to the wall in front of you, and press the Spacebar to lower it like a lift. When it lowers, get on it, and ride it to the top (kill the Zombiemen and Shotugn Guy in front of you). Up here, go straight, and hit the exit switch. *********************** Level 14: Steel Works *********************** When you start the level, get to the other end of the room. Over here, turn right, and pick up the Yellow Key in front of you (quite a pathetic place for a key, huh?). Now, turn around, and follow the right hand wall until you get to a door to your right, killing any Zombiemen or Shotgun Guys in your way. When you see the door, get in front of it, and turn right. You'll see a switch. Hit it, and the door will open. Now go through. In here, get to the other end of the room, killing any Zombiemen in your way. Over here, open the door. In here, follow this hall to another door, killing any Zombiemen in your way. When you get to the door, open it. In here, get to the other end of the room, killing any Zombiemen in your way. When you get to the other end of the room, open the Yellow Door over here. In here, head up the stairs. At the top, go left, and go through the opening across from you, killing any Zombiemen or Spectres in your way. In here, follow this hall to an opening, killing any Zombiemen, Shotgun Guys, or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the opening, go through, and in here, go left, and follow this hall to an opening. When you get to it, go through. With your back against the opening, turn right. You'll see a platform in front of you with a lift to get to it. Lower the lift, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, go all the way straight to the opening across from you (RUN, because this is a crushing ceiling). In here, take the lift down. Down here, head right, and follow this hall to the Blue Key, killing any Imps or Spectres in your way. Now, get back to the lift, and ride it to the top. Back up here, *Run* straight to get to the end of this platform, and drop off. Back down here, go right, killing any Zombiemen or Spectres in your way. Over here, you'll see a lift surrounded by Blue Bars. Hit the switch next to it and the Blue Bars will go away. Now, lower the lift, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, go through the opening across from you. In here, follow the left hand wall to a staircase, killing any Zombiemen or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the staircase, take it. At the top, go through to the opening to your right. In here, work your way to the switch at the other end of the room, killing any Lost Souls in your way (be quick, the floor is poisonous). When you get to the other end of the room, hit the switch, and it will open like a door. In here, follow this hall to the Red Key, killing any Zombiemen in your way. When you get to the Red Key, pick it up. From here, backtrack all the way back to the level's starting room. (they'll be a door with a switch next to it as you go, so hit the switch to open the door). When you get back to the Level's Starting Room, get to the northwest corner of the room (watch out for the new Spider Mastermind on skills 4 and 5). Once you get to the northwest corner of this room, hit the switch over here. Now the Red Bars to your right will open, revealing the exit teleporter. Step on it. ********************* Level 15: Dead Zone ********************* When you start the level, get all the ammo and armor in this room, then from where you started, press the Spacebar in front of the wall to your right. It will then open like a door, so go through. Out here, get to the wall across from you, head right, following along with the wall until you see a silver wall (the one you're following is gray). The silver wall is a lift. Press the Spacebar to lower it, so get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, head up the stairs in front of you. Up here, follow the left hand wall to an opening. When you get to it, go through it. In here, check the walls to the right in this hallway (check all the walls to the right), until you find one that opens, revealing a Berserk. Pick it up, and turn right. Now press the Spacebar in front of you, and the wall will open, revealing a teleporter. Go through it. When you teleport, turn around, and hit the exit switch (this takes you to the secret exit ;)). Now, before you enter the next level, you get a story: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What now? Looks totally different. Kind of like King Tut's Condo. Well, whatever's here can't be any worse than usual. Can it? Or maybe it's best to let sleeping gods lie... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ******************* Level 31: Pharaoh ******************* When you start the level, hit the switch in front of you, and the walls will lower, revealing loads of ammo, weapons, and health. Now go straight, and get to the other end of the room, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. Over here there is an opening. Go through. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dude and hit the switch in here. Now leave this room. Back out here, go straight until you see an opening in the pyramid to your left. When you see the opening, go through. In here, get to the opening at the other end of the room, but don't go in the gap. Instead, look at this map: _____________ | | | Chair | | | |_____________| ----------- Opening ----------------- X Say the X is you. Get to the left of the opening, and hold Alt and Shift. Now "Strafe Run" through the opening to get to the chair (use "Right" on the Arrow Key). This will take a lot of attempts to get on the chair, because it is hard. If you don't make it, hit the switch down here, and it will create stairs, and try again. When you finally make it, get your back on the edge of the chair (don't fall off). Now press the Spacebar and you'll hear the sound of a switch being hit. So turn left and you should see a new opening. Hop off the chair, and go through. In here, go all the way straight and get to the opening at the other end of the room, and go through. In here, head up the stairs, and the wall in front of you will open, revealing a MegaSphere and a switch. Get the MegaSphere, and hit the switch. Now, turn around, and go back through the opening. In here, follow the left hand wall to an opening, and go through. In here, go all the way right to the other end of this room, and hit the switch. Now turn around, and go through the opening to your left. Back in here, go through the opening across from you, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. In here, wait for the wall in front of you to lower. When it's done lowering, go up the stairs in front of you. At the top, go through the opening across from you. On this pathway, drop down in the water to your right. Down here, go through the opening across from you, and you should come to a wall surrounded by an arch. Press the Spacebar to lower the wall, and when it's done, go through. In here, get all the Health and Armor Bonuses, and with your back against the opening, press the Spacebar on the wall at the other end of the room, and it will lower, revealing the exit switch. Hit it (this takes you to the secret exit ;)). Now, before you enter the next level, you get a little story: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Time for a vacation. You've burst the bowels of Hell and by golly you're ready for a break. You mutter to yourself, maybe someone else can kick Hell's ass next time around. Ahead lies a quiet town, with peaceful flowing water, quaint buildings, and presumably no Hellspawn. As you step off the transport, you hear the stomp of a Cyberdemon's Iron Shoe. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ********************* Level 32: Carribean ********************* When you start this level, hit the switch in front of you, and the floor you're on will lower. Down here, head left, and follow this pathway until you see another pathway to your right. When you see it, cross it. When you get to the other end of the pathway, press the Spacebar in front of the wall in front of you, and it will open like a door, and then go through. In here, go straight to the other end of the room. Now go in the opening to your right. In here, follow the right hand wall to a staircase, and when you get to it, head up it. At the top, follow this hall to an opening. When you get to it, go through. In here, go through the opening to your right. Now, head left, and follow this hall until you see a switch to your right. When you get to it, hit it. The walls to the right and left of it will lower. Now, get to the other side of the wall that the switch was on, killing any Shotgun Guys or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. On the other side of that wall is another switch. Hit it, and the lifts to your left and right will lower. Get on either one, and ride it to the top. At the top of either one, hit the switch up here. Now, go back, hit the switch to lower the lift, get on the other lift, and ride it to the top. Up here, hit the switch. Now, when you have both switches hit, drop down, and leave this room, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. Back in here, follow the left hand wall back to the stairs, killing any Imps, Demons, or Revenants in your way (and get the Medikits and Boxes of Shotgun Shells). When you get to the stairs, head down them. Back down here, turn right, and kill the Revenants. Now, get the Blue Key and the other items. Now, go through the opening at the northeast part of the room. In here, head down the stairs in front of you. At the bottom, turn right and go through the opening. In here, get the Yellow Key. Now, the floor you're on will lower. Down here, as the floor's lowering, blow up the barrels in front of you before the floor's finished lowering. Down here, and it should kill the Archvile and the Arachnotron down here. With the barrels gone, get to the other end of the room, and hit the switch over here. The lift to your left will lower. Get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, drop down to the water below you, and now, go all the way right to the door way across from you. When you get to it, hit the switch to the left of the door, and the door will open. In here, get the ammo, the Rocket Launcher, and the health, and hit the switch in here. Now leave this room. Back out here, go right and head up the stairs in front of you. At the top, head right, and follow this pathway until you see a pathway to your right, killing any Shotgun Guys or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you see the pathway to your right, cross it, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. At the end of the pathway, get in front of the wall in front of you, and follow this wall to the right until you get to a switch (kill the Mancubi around it). Hit the switch, and go back where the pathway was. You'll see a new opening, so go through. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, and drop down to the pit to your right. Down here, kill the Pain Elementals, and then when they are all dead, look for a tan wall down here. Press the Spacebar to lower it, and then go through. In here, follow the left hand wall until you get to another room. When you get to the room, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes in here, and hit the switch. Now leave this room. Back in here, follow the left hand wall to another room, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. In here, follow the left hand wall until you get to a metal tan wall, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the tan metal wall, press the Spacebar to lower it, and then go through. In here, blow up the barrels in front of you, and then go through the opening. In here, go right and the wall in front of you should open, revealing a Baron of Hell and a Spectre. Kill them both, and hit the switch in the room they came out of. Now leave this room. Back in here, follow the left hand wall until you see an opening to your right, and go through. In here, kill the Spectre, the Heavy Weapon Dudes, and the Archvile, and hit the switch in this room (watch out for when they teleport). When you hit the switch, leave this room. Back out here, press the Spacebar to lower the wall to your right. Back in this room, head up the stairs in front of you. At the top, drop down to the pit in front of you. Down here, go through the opening. In here, follow this pathway to some Armor. Now, turn right, and go through the opening in front of you. In here, kill the Hell Knight, the Heavy Weapon Dude, the Mancubus, and the Revenant. Now hit the switch in this room. Then, get back on the pathway, and turn left. Blow up all the barrels in front of you, and then get the Red Key at the other end of the room. Now, leave this room. Back in here, head up the stairs, and open the door to your right. Leave this room. Back out here, exit this room. Back out here, head right, and follow this pathway until you see a Red Door to your left. When you see it, open it, and go through. In here, go all the way straight to the other end of the room. When you get to the other end of this room, there will be two openings on the wall in front of you. Head through either one, and take the stairs. At the top, follow the hall in front of you until you see a switch to your right/left. When you see it, hit it. Now, head back down either staircase, and leave this room. Back out here, there is a new opening next to you. In it are Hell Knights, Mancubi, Revenants, and a Spider Mastermind/Cyberdemon (skill level depends). Kill all what's there (or, have the enemies fight the Cyberdemon/Spider Mastermind). When they are all gone, facing the exit door in here (you can't open it), turn around. You should see a pit in front of you. Drop down it. Down here, there are two teleporters. Take the silver one. When you teleport, hit the switch next to you. Now, go back through the teleporter next to you. Back in here, hit the switch in this pit, then go through the red teleporter. You'll be teleported in front of the exit door. It's open now, and another door behind it. Go through and hit the exit switch (if both doors close, repeat the teleporter process again). FINALLY I AM DONE WITH THAT LEVEL; I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER FINISH IT! *************************** Level 16: Deepest Reaches *************************** When you start the level, open the door in front of you. In here, *run* across the platforms in front of you to get to the other end of the room. When you get to the other end of the room, go through the opening in front of you. In here, there is a door to your left and right. Open the one on your right, killing any Shotgun Guys or Demons in your way. When you get to the door, open it. In here, go straight, and skip the first opening to the right. When you see another opening to your right, go through it. In here, hit the switch in front of you. Now, leave this opening. Back in here, head up the stairs in the west part of this room. Up here, head left until you see a switch to your right, killing the Revenant, and the Shotgun Guys in front of you. When you see a switch, hit it. Now, head back down the stairs (if you're playing on a low skill level, get the BFG in the north part of this room before you head down, and on hard skill levels, the BFG will be replaced by a Rocket Launcher). Back down here, go through the opening in the east part of this room. In here, head down the stairs in front of you. Down here, go in the opening across from you. In here, go straight until you get to a staircase. When you get to it, head down it. At the bottom, follow the wall to your right to a teleporter. When you get to the teleporter, take it. In here, get the Blue Key in front of you, and go through the teleporter again. Back in here, head back up the stairs to your left. At the top, go through the opening across from you and leave this room. Back in here, go through the opening to your right, and leave this room. In here, open the door across from you. Back in this room, follow the right hand wall to a door. When you get to it, open it, and go through. In here, get to the other end of the room. When you do, the floor you're on will lower. Down here, hit the switch to your right, and the door will open, then go through. In here, follow the wall to your left until you get to the Blue Door, killing any Hell Knights, Demons, or Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the Blue Door, open it. In here, kill the Zombieman in front of you, and then head straight, going up the stairs in front of you. At the top, follow the left hand wall until you get to the an opening. When you get to it, go through. In here, follow the right hand wall until you get to a red/pink wall (but it doesn't look like the red walls around you), killing any Zombiemen or Imps in your way. Also, the wall I mentioned is a lift. So when you get to the red/pink wall, press the Spacebar to lower it like a lift. When it lowers, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, follow the left hand wall until you get to the Yellow Key, killing any Demons or Spectres in your way. When you get to the Yellow Key, pick it up. Now, remember the teleporter that took you to the Blue Key? Backtrack all the way back to the teleporter (but don't take it). Back in this room, facing the teleporter, turn around. Now, go all the way straight to the other end of the room, killing the Mancubus in front of you. When you get to the other end of the room, go left, and open the Yellow Door in front of you, then go through. In here, go through the opening to your right, and follow this hall to another room. In here, get to the northeast part of this room (don't drop down to the floor below you), killing any Shotgun Guys or Imps in your way. When you get to the northeast part of this room, open the door over here, and go through. In here, take the teleporter in front of you. When you teleport, hit the switch in front of you. Now, stairs to your left will be creating, leading to another room. Down here, hit the exit switch in front of you. ************************** Level 17: Processing Area ************************** When you start the level, kill the Shotgun Guys in front of you, then open the door in front of you, and go through. In here, head all the way right until you see an opening to your left, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you see the opening to your left, go through it. In here, head up the stairs in front of you. At the top, go left and get the Yellow Key, killing the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. When you get the Yellow Key, go back down the stairs. At the bottom, open and go through the Yellow Door across from you. In here, follow the pathway you're on to a door, killing any Archviles or Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the door, open it. In here, follow the left hand wall to a switch. When you get to a switch, hit it. Now leave this room the way you came in from. Back in here again, follow this pathway again until you see a new pathway to your right. When you see the pathway, cross it to (and get) the Blue Key. Now, turn around, and leave this room (open the door to your right). Back in here, go all the way left until you see a staircase to your right. When you get to the staircase, head up it. At the top, go left until you see an opening to your right. When you see the opening, go through it. In here, open the Blue Door across from you. In here, take either staircase to the left or right of you to the Red Key, killing any Shotgun Guys or Imps in your way. When you get the Red Key, leave this room fast (on hard skill levels, don't kill the Mancubus in the middle of the room, since his location is where teleporting monsters appear, and the Mancubus is blocking access from monsters teleporting in here). Back in this room, head down the staircase to your right. Down here, go through the opening to your right. In here, get to the Red Bars in front of you, and press the Spacebar on any of them to make them open, giving access to the exit switch. Hit it. *************** Level 18: Mill **************** When you start the level, go straight, and open the door in front of you, then go through. In here, kill the Shotgun Guys in front of you, and head down the stairs in the southeast part of this room. Down here, head up the stairs in the east part of this room. At the top, follow the left hand wall to an opening, and go through. In here, kill the Zombieman, and hit the switch. Now, leave this room. Back out here, drop down to the floor below you. Down here, enter the building in the southeast part of this room. In here, hit the switch in this room. When you hit the switch, you should see part of a wall lowering in the southeast part of the room. While it's lowering, an Arachvile will teleport into this room. Kill it. Now, wait for the wall to finish rising. When it's finished, go to where the lowered wall was, and step on the floor that has a diamond on it. You will be teleported. When you teleport, you'll be on the Blue Key (and you'll get it when you move). Now, drop off the pillar you're on. Back down here, head up the stairs in the middle of the room. Back up here, get to the west part of this room (use the Automap for help if you need to). When you get to the west part of this room, go through the staircase near here. Now in here, go in the opening across from you. In here, follow the right hand wall to a door. When you get to the door open it. In here, kill the Archvile in front of you, then hit the switch in this room. Now go all the way right to the switch in front of you. Hit it. Now, turn back around and leave this room. Back in here, get the Red Key at the other end of this room. Now head back up the stairs in this room. In here, go through the opening in front of you. Back in this room, get to the south part of this room. Over here, go through the opening. In here, open the Red Door across from you. In here, go all the way straight into the room across from you. In here, there are 6 lifts in this room. Hit the switch in here to lower them all, then get on the lift in the west part of this room, and ride it to the top. Up here, follow the left hand wall until you get to a switch. When you get to a switch, hit it, and the lift behind you will lower. So get on it (kill the Barons of Hell), and ride it to the top. Up here, hit the switch in front of you, turn around, and drop down to the floor below you. Back down here, get to the northeast part of this room. Over here, hit the switch, and the lift behind you will lower, revealing Barons. Kill them, get on the lift, and ride it to the top. Up here, hit the switch, and now drop back down to the floor below you. Back down here, open the Blue Door in the middle of the room. In here, there is a pillar in front of you with four switches on it (you can only hit two now), but ignore them for now. Anyway, open the door at the other end of the room and go through. In here, go through the opening in front of you. In here, get to the other end of the room. Over here, lower the lift, and get on it. When it raises, face the opening in this room. Now turn left. See that two heads on the wall? Shoot them with your Pistol, either Shotgun or Chaingun, and the lift you're on will rise a bit more. Now, turn around, and hit the switch in front of you. When you hit the switch, leave this room. Back in here, go all the way right until you get to a wall. When you get to this wall, press the Spacebar on it and it will lower like a lift. Instead of going on the lift, go through the new opening to the left. In here, hit the switch, and leave. Back out here, go all the way right until you see a door to your right. When you see it, open it, and go through. Remember the pillar with 4 switches in the middle of this room? Now the bars blocking the other 2 switches have been removed. Hit all 4 switches, then open the door in the east part of this room, and go through. Back over here, go right until you see an opening to your left. When you see it, go through it. In here, go straight until you see another opening to your left. When you see it, go through. In here, get the Yellow Key. Now, turn around and face the opening. Then, follow the left hand wall until you step on a floor that lowers (it's the lift that took us up here). Back down here, follow the left hand wall to a switch, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the switch, hit it. Remember the Red Door in this room? It's now open. Go through. Back in this room, go through the opening in front of you. In here, get to the wall in front of you. Now, turn right, and follow this wall to a switch. When you get to a switch, hit it, and the lift next to you will lower. Get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, follow the right hand wall to the Yellow Door. When you get to it, open it, and go through. In here, get to the northwest part of the room (use the Automap for a little help). Over here, you should find a small square wall on the walls around it. When you see it, shoot it with your Fist, Chainsaw, Pistol, either Shotgun, or Chaingun. When you shoot it, you should hear the sound of a switch being hit. Now, get to the southeast part of the room. Over here, you should find a small new opening. Inside is a bunch of dead marines and a switch. Go through the opening, and hit the switch. Now, leave this little opening. Back in here, go through the new opening in the north part of this room, killing any Hell Knights or Cacodemons in your way. In here you'll find a floor that has the word exit around it. That's the exit teleporter. Step on it (watch out for the Cyberdemon on hard skill levels). ******************************* Level 19: Shipping/Respawning ******************************* When you start the level, open the door in front of you, and go through. In here, kill the Revenant, get the Shotgun and the ammo, and open the door in here, and go through. In here, follow the left hand wall to a door, killing any Shotgun Guys or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the door, open it, and go through. In here, follow the right hand wall to a door, open it, and go through. In here, go all the way straight into the opening across from you, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. In here, open the door at the other end of the room, and go through. In here, follow the right hand wall to a door, killing any Hell Knights or Imps in your way. When you get to the door, open it, and go through. In here, get to the center of the room (kill the Mancubus, Heavy Weapon Dudes, and the Imps. See the box that has "YK" on it (sorry I couldn't get the ___ in)? Walk into it and get the Yellow Key (it's low enough to walk in). With the Yellow Key, open the door in the southwest part of this room, and go through. In here, go through the opening in the southeast part of this room. In here, head down the stairs. At the bottom, follow this hall to the Yellow Door. When you get to it, open it, and go through. In here, get the Blue Key in the small alcove to your right, and leave this room (watch out for the Heavy Weapon Dudes). Back in here, follow the right hand wall to a door. When you get to it, open it, and go through. In here, go through the opening at the other end of the room. In here, open the Blue Door to your right, and go through. In here, follow the left hand wall to a switch, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes or Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the switch, hit it, and the door to your right will open, so go through. In here, kill the Cacodemons in front of you, then go through the opening right in front of you). In here, get the Red Key. By now, the doors should've closed (and you can't open them from this side). So, hit the switch to the left of the doors (the step to get back to the platform is just to the right of the switch). Back up here, go through the open doors again. Back in here, get to the southeast part of this room. Over here, open the Red Door. In here, follow the right hand wall to another Red Door, and open it. In here, hit the exit switch (watch out for the Heavy Weapon Dudes). ****************************** Level 20: Central Processing ****************************** When you start the level, follow the right hand wall to a door, killing any Imps, Heavy Weapon Dudes, or Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the door, open it, and go through. In here, go left, and follow the left hand wall until you get to a teleporter, killing any Shotgun Guys, Heavy Weapon Dudes, or Imps in your way. When you see a teleporter, step on it. In here, follow the right hand wall to a door, killing the Heavy Weapon Dude in front of you. When you get to the door, open it, and go through. Back in this room, head right, and follow the right hand wall to an opening, killing any Imps, Shotgun Guys, or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the opening, go through it. In here, go through the opening to your right, and in here, walk forward, and stairs will raise in front of you. Now, head up these stairs. At the top, go forward to the opening. See the gaps and platforms in front of you? Save you're game, then *run* across the platforms to get to the other end of the room. When you get to the other end of the room, go through the opening over here. In here, you should see a lift raising and dropping to the right. When it lands on the ground, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, go all the way right. See that blue tile on the floor? Step on it. When you do, you'll notice a wall near you has opened, revealing a staircase. Head up it, killing any Revenants, Heavy Weapon Dudes, Imps, or Shotgun Guys in your way. At the top, get the Red Key. Now turn around, and head back down the stairs. Down here, go through the opening to your right. In here, you'll notice this hall has three openings to the right. Walk up to the one in the middle, and the walls in the three openings will lower. Now, go through any of the three openings (they all lead to the same room). In here, take the teleporter in the east part of this room. You'll be teleported back to the level's starting point. Now, follow the left hand wall to the Red Door. When you get to the Red Door, open it, and go through. In here, go all the way right to the door in front of you. Get right in front of the door, and turn around. You'll see a new opening, so go through (watch out for the Revenant). In here, follow this hall to a switch. When you get to a switch, hit it with your First/Chainsaw/Pistol/either Shotgun/Chaingun, and it'll be activated. When you shoot the switch with one of those weapons, leave this room. Back in here, go through the new opening to your left. In here, kill the Imps and the Arachnotron, and go through the opening in this room. In here, follow the left hand wall until you get to a gap (make sure you grab the Radiation Suit), killing any Shotgun Guys or Imps in your way. When you get to the gap, drop down it. Down here, turn right, and if you're playing on skills 3, 4, or 5, follow the left hand wall to the Blue Key, and get it (the key won't be there on 1 or 2). Otherwise, with or without the key, open the door in the west part of this room, and go through. In here, follow this hall to a wall. When you get to the wall, press the Spacebar on it, and it will lower like a lift. So get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, go straight, and go through the opening at the other end of this room. In here, get the Invincibility Sphere, and follow this hall to another wall. When you get to the wall, open it (on skills 1 and 2, the Blue Key will be right next to the wall, so pick it up), and go through. In here, open the door in the middle of the room, and go through. In here, step on the Medikit in the west part of this room, killing any Demons, Revenants, or Mancubi in your way. Now, the wall in the center of the room will lower, revealing a MegaArmor. Get the MegaArmor, and leave this room. Back in here, go through the new opening in the north part of this room. In here is a switch that you need to fire with your Fist, Chainsaw, Pistol, either Shotgun, or Chaingun, and it will activate. So shoot the switch, and the wall to your left will open, so go through the new opening. In here, follow the left hand wall to the Yellow Key, killing the Arachnotron near it. When you have the Yellow Key, open the door in this room (the door is near the exploded blood corpse), and go through. In here, kill the Imp, and get the Box of Shotgun Shells. Now walk up to the blue torch, and you'll be teleported. When you teleport, go all the way straight to the Yellow Door across from you, killing any Shotgun Guys or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the Yellow Door, open it, and go through. In here, go straight and head down to the floor below you. Down here, go straight and drop down into the pit/river in front of you. Down here, go all the way right and you should be teleported. You'll be teleported on a platform. Drop off the platform, and get to the door in the east part of the room, open it, and go through. In here, go through the opening to your right. In here, take the teleporter. When you teleport, drop down to the floor below you. Down here, get the Soulsphere. Then, look for an opening in the fence around you. When you see it, go through it, and drop down to the floor below you. Down here, drop down to the water below you. Down here, take the teleporter near you (and watch out for the enemies teleporting). When you teleport, head up the stairs in front of you, and up here, go straight to the lift in front of you. Lower it, and get on it. Now, face the gray wall, and as the lift is raising, you'll see a platform. Drop down to it. When you do, follow this pathway until you run into a wall/dead end (the wall will have a fire thing to the right of it). When you get to the wall/dead end, walk up to the wall and it will lower like a lift. So get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, follow the left fence to an opening in the fence. Go through it, and drop down to the platform below you. Down here, go left and follow this pathway to a teleporter. When you get to the teleporter, step on it. When you teleport, turn around, and you'll see "Exit" on the wall. Press the Spacebar on it to exit the level. Now, before you enter the next level, you get a story: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The vista opening ahead looks real damn familiar. Smells familiar, too like -- fried excrement. You didn't like this place before, and you sure as hell ain't planning to like it now. The more you brood on it, the madder you get. Hefting your gun, an evil grin trickles on your face. Time to take some names. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ********************************* Level 21: Administration Center ********************************* When you start the level, kill the Imp in front of you, and go straight, and get in front of the opening. Now, drop down to the pit below you. Down here, get to the platform in the center of the room, killing any Imps or Hell Knights in your way. When you get to the platform, the pillar in the west will lower, revealing a Red Key, a Revenant, and a teleporter. Get the Red Key, and go through the teleporter. When you teleport, you will see a door to your left and your right. Open the one on your right, and go through. In here, go all the way right until you see a Red Door to your right, killing any Imps in your way. When you see the Red Door, open it, and go through. In here, kill all the Imps, Heavy Weapon Dudes, and the Hell Knight in front of you. From where the Red Door is, look right. You should see a mini chair in front of the wall. Get on the mini chair, and now, facing the Box of Shotgun Shells in front of you, turn around. You should see a green wall. Open it like a door, and go through. In here, get to the black "flag" in the southwest part of this room. When you get to the "flag" open it like a door, and go through. In here, try to go left, and the staircase your on will lower to the floor. Down here, get to the south part of this room, killing any Imps in your way. When you get to the south part of this room, hit the switch over here, and the wall to your right will open, so go through. In here, kill the Imps and the Mancubus, and hit the switch in this room. Now, when you hit the switch, go through the new opening to your left. In here, kill the Mancubus, and then get the Box of Rockets in this room (you'll need too). When you have the Box of Rockets, leave this room. Back in here, get to the northeast part of the room. When you do, get the Box of Rockets over here, and then stairs to your left will raise, so head up them. At the top, turn right, and face the wall. Now open it like a door, and go through. In here, open the door in the north part of this room, and go through. In here, go all the way straight to the other end of the room. Over here, open the door, and go through. Back out here, go right, and follow the right hand wall to a pit. When you get to the pit, drop down it. Down here, get the Yellow Key in front of you, and go through the teleporter in the west. When you teleport, you'll see the two same doors to your right and your left. Open the door to your left, and go through. Back in here, go all the way left until you run into a wall. When you do, go all the way left until you see a Yellow Door to your left. When you do, open it, and go through. In here, open the door to the left, killing any Imps or Hell Knights in your way, and go through. In here, follow the right hand wall to a Box of Rockets. Just before you get to the Box of Rockets, the floor you're on will lower. Down here, go left hand follow the right hand wall to a gray wall. When you get to a gray wall, get right in front of it, and the floor you're on will raise like a lift. At the top, get to the black "flag" at the other end of the room, and open it like a door, and go through. In here, go right until you get to a pit. When you get to a pit, drop down it. Down here, get the Blue Key on the new platform in front of you, and take the teleporter to the west, killing any Revenants or Hell Knights in your way. When you get to the teleporter, take it. When you teleport, you'll be back in the room where there's a door to your left and right. Open the one on the left, and go through. In here, go all the way left until you get to the Blue Door. When you see the Blue Door, open it, and go through. In here, walk up to the wall to your left, killing any Imps in your way. When you walk to the wall to your left, the room will darken, and the wall will open, so go through. In here, drop down into the small gap at the other end of the room. When you drop into it, the floor you're on will raise. When you get back to the floor, go through the new opening in the northeast part of this room. In here, shoot the switch in front of you with a Fist, Chainsaw, Pistol, either Shotgun, or a Chaingun. Now, when you shoot the switch, go all the way straight. See that wide pillar? Walk up to it and it will lower (kill the Baron of Hell). When the pillar lowers to the ground, step on it, and you will be teleported. When you teleport, turn around, and drop down into the gap. Down here, kill the Imps, and hit the switch, and the floor you're on will rise. Now, turn around, open and go through the door. Out here, get to the north part of this area, killing any Imps in your way. When you get to the north part of this area, you should see a lava river in the north. Go into it, and go all the way right until you get to a Soulsphere (the lava won't hurt). When you have the Soulsphere, turn around, and go all the way straight and you should see a wall lowering in front of you, revealing another wall. Walk right up to the wall (it should say "exit" on it). Press the Spacebar on it and you'll exit the level. ******************* Level 22: Habitat ******************* When you start the level, go through the opening across from you. In here, go through the opening to your left. In here, go all the way straight, and drop down into the pit in front of you. Down here, walk up to the MIDDLE of the silver wall in the west part of this room, and it should lower. When it lowers, go through the new opening. Walk straight, and the lift in front of you should lower. Get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, go straight to the Berserk and the Invincibility Sphere in front of you. When you get to those two power-ups the walls around you will open, revealing another wall and Spectres. Kill the Spectres, and go into the room. In here, go through the opening in the north part of this room. In here, walk into the pit in the middle of the room, and you will exit the level. ******************************* Level 23: Lunar Mining Project ******************************* When you start the level, go all the way right until you get to a door in front of you, killing any Zombiemen in your way. When you get to the door, open it, and go through. In here, there are 4 doors on the wall in front of you. Open the second one from the left, and go through (watch out for Shotgun Guys). In here, get the Yellow Key, and leave this room the way you came from. Back in here, go all the way right until you get to a door. When you get to a door, open it, and go through. In here, kill the Zombiemen, and open the Yellow Door in here, and go through. In here, get in front of the opening in the northeast part of this room. While you're in front of the opening, turn left. You'll see a mini-chair. Get on it, and use it to get to the platform to the right. On this platform, get the Red Key. With the Red Key, hop off this platform. Back down here, go through the opening in the northwest part of this room. In here, the floor you're on will lower like a lift. Down here, turn right, and lower the lift in front of you. Get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, go straight until you get to a little gap. *Run* across it to get to the platform in front of you. Over here, head straight to another gap, and *run* across it. Now, again, head straight to another gap, then drop down to the pit in front of you. Down here, get the Blue Key in front of you, killing any Shotgun Guys or Revenants in your way. With the Blue Key, go through the opening in the southwest part of this room. In here, drop down to the pit in front of you. Down here, go all the way left until you get to an opening, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to it, go through it. In here, lower the lift in front of you, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, go all the way straight to the door in front of you, open it, and go through. In here, kill the Imps and Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, open the door at the other end of this room, and go through. In here, go all the way straight to the other end of this room. When you get to the other end of this room, turn right, open the door in front of you, and go through. In here, follow the left hand wall to a Blue Door. When you get to it, open it, and go through. In here, go straight. See the moving wall in front of you (that has "Exit" above it)? Walk through it, and you'll exit the level. ****************** Level 24: Quarry ****************** When you start the level, follow the right hand wall to an opening. When you get to the opening, go through it. In here, go through the opening across from you. In here, go through the opening across from you (watch out for Zombiemen and Shotgun Guys). In here, go through the opening to your left, killing any Spectres in your way. In here, go through the opening across from you. In here, go through the opening across from you. You'll be outside. Out here, go through the small opening across from you (WHEN CAN I STOP SAYING THAT!). In here, follow the left hand wall to an opening. In here, go through the opening across from you. In here, follow this hall to a lowered wall, revealing a teleporter (be quick). When you see the teleporter, step on it (if you don't make it fast, the wall it's on will rise, and if it does, go back through the hall until you hear the wall lower). When you teleport, wait for the floor you're on to raise. When it does, get the Blue Key, and kill the Revenant near you. Now, jump off the east part of this platform you're on. Down here, go all the way right until you get to a little pit. *Run* across it to get to the platform in front of you. On this platform, open the Blue Door to your left, and go through. In here, kill the Revenant, collect the health, and hit the exit switch. ********************** Level 25: Baron's Den ********************** When you start the level, follow this hall to an opening (watch out for the Shotgun Guy). When you get to the opening, go through. In here, follow the right hand wall to an opening. When you get to it, go through. In here, follow this hall to an opening, and go through. In here, follow the left hand wall to another opening, and when you get to it, go through. In here, go right until you get to a door, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the door, open it, and go through. In here, head up the stairs in front of you. At the top, go straight to the switch in front of you, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the switch, hit it, and it will open like a door, so go through. In here, follow the left hand wall to an opening, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the opening, go through. In here, follow the right hand wall to an opening, and when you get to it, go through. In here, follow this hallway until you bump into a wall/dead end. When you do, turn right. See that wall in front of you? Walk through it (you can, it's a fake wall). In here, get the Red Key, and leave this room. Back in here, go left until you get to an opening. When you do, go through. In here, go right, and follow this hall to an opening, and go through. Back in this room, follow the left hand wall to a door. When you get to it (it's on the staircase), open it, and go through. In here, kill the Shotgun Guys in front of you, and go through the opening to your left. In here, walk up to the pillar in front of you, and it will lower, revealing a teleporter. Step on the teleporter. When you teleport, go straight until you see a staircase to your right, killing any Cacodemons, Pain Elementals, or Shotgun Guys in your way. When you see a staircase to your right, head up it. At the top, go right until you see an opening to your left. When you see it, go through it. In here, open the door in front of you, and go through. In here, follow this hall to an opening, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the opening, go through. In here, follow the left hand wall to an opening. When you get to it, go through. In here, follow the hall until you get to an opening, and when you get to it, go through. In here, drop down to the pit in front of you. Down here, get the Super Shotgun, and go through the opening down here. In here, hit the switch in front of you, and it will open like a door, so go through. In here, walk up to the wall in front of you at the other end of the room, and it will open like a door, so go through. In here, walk up to the demon-face wall to the left, and it will open like a door, so go through. In here, press the Spacebar on the Red Bar in front of you, and it will open like a door, so go through. In here, get the Blue Key in the middle of the room, then go left until you get to a switch. Hit it. Now turn right. You should see a lift lowering VERY SLOWLY (kill the Mancubi in this room). When the lift finally finishes lowering, get on it. On here, hit the switch in here, and the lift will raise very slowly again. While the lift is raising, kill the Barons of Hell on the lift for something for you to do ;). Once the lift finishes rising, walk up to the wall (with the Boxes of Rockets next to it) in this room, and it will open, so go through. In here, go through the opening to your left. In here, go all the way straight to the other end of the room, killing any Archviles or Barons of Hell in your way. When you get to the other end of the room, turn left, and go through the opening. In here, walk straight to the wall across from you, and it will open, so go through. In here, kill the Baron of Hell in front of you, and hit the switch to the right, and the Blue Bars to your left will be removed, so you will be able to go through the opening they were blocking. Go through it. In here, follow this hall to a switch, killing any Barons of Hell in your way. When you get to a switch, hit it, and it will open like a door, so go through. In here, hit the switch on the wall in front of you, and the floor you're on will lower. Down here, go through the opening, and head through the teleporter in this room (the switch lowers the teleporter, so if it raises before you get to it, hit the switch again). When you teleport, walk straight and the wall in front of you will open, so go through. In here, kill the Spectre and the Heavy Weapon Dude in front of you, and go through the opening in here. In here, hit the exit switch to your left. Well, the Barons of Hell at the end of the level pretty much describe this level's name, Baron's Den ;) ********************* Level 26: Ballistyx ********************* When you start the level, open the door to your right, and go through. In here, head up the stairs in front of you. At the top, go up either the right or the left staircase. At the top, go through the opening to your left/right. In here, follow this hall until the floor you're on lowers. Down here, follow this hall to another floor that lowers on you. Down here, follow this hall to another wall that lowers on you. Down here, follow this hall to another floor that lowers on you (kill the Spectres). Down here, follow the left hand wall to a door, killing any Imps in your way. When you get to the door, open it, and go through. In here, follow this hall to an opening, and go through. In here, go through the opening at the other end of the room, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. In here, follow this hall to another opening, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the opening, go through. In here, get the Blue Key in the middle of the room, then leave from where you came from. Back in here, backtrack all the way to a door we used to get to this room. When you get back to the door, open it, and go through. Back in here, turn right, then follow the left hand wall until you get to an opening, killing any Hell Knights in your way. When you get to the opening, go through. In here, follow the right hand wall to a door, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes or Imps in your way. When you get to the door, open it, and go through. In here, open the Blue Door across from you, and go through. In here, go left, and follow this hall to a door. When you get to it, open it, and go through. In here, hit the switch at the other end of the room. Now, turn around. Follow the wall in front of you (either left or right), to an opening. When you get to the opening, go through. In here, take the teleporter. When you teleport, pick up the Yellow Key, and open the door in the west part of this hall. When you open the door, go through the teleporter in front of you. When you teleport, go through the opening in front of you. In here, follow this hall until you see a door to your right. When you see it, open it, and go through. In here, follow the left hand wall to an opening, and go through. In here, follow the right hand wall until you get to a door. When you get to a door, open it, and go through. Remember this room? Now, from here, get to the room where we got the Blue Key. Back in this room, follow the right hand wall until you get to a set of Yellow Bars, killing any Zombiemen, Shotgun Guys, Imps, Demons, or Mancubi in your way. When you get to the set of Yellow Bars, press the Spacebar to open them, and go through. In here, go through the opening across from you. In here, go through the opening in the south part of this room. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes, and leave this little room. Back in here, kill the Mancubus and get the Red Key in the middle of the room. Now, leave this room. Back in here, backtrack all the way back to the door we used to get in this area of the map When you get to the door, open it, and go through. In here, follow the left hand wall to the Red Door. When you get to it, open it, and go through. In here, head down the stairs in front of you. Down here, go through the opening in the northwest part of this room. In here, go straight until you teleport. You'll be teleported back to the level's starting point. Now, go straight to the building in the south part of this room. See where all the dead marines are over here? Step on the floor you're on, and you'll exit the level. ********************** Level 27: Mount Pain ********************** Mount Pain: The Name Says It All My opinion on the level (my favorite Doom level too). Anyway, when you start the level, go all the way left until you see an opening. When you get to an opening, go through. In here, go through the opening to your right. In here, head down the stairs in front of you. At the bottom, go all the way left until you get to the other end of the room (grab the Radiation Suit, you'll need it), killing any Imps in your way. When you get to the other end of the room, turn right. You should see a Box of Shotgun Shells and a Medikit. Grab both of them, and a new opening to the right of them should open. Go through it. In here, drop down to the floor below you. Down here, go through the opening to your left. In here, follow this hall to a door. When you get to a door, open it, and go through. In here, you should see a lift lowering/raising in front of you. If it is lowering, get on it, and ride it to the top (otherwise, wait for it to lower). On the lift, get the Box of Rockets and the Box of Shotgun Shells, and once the lift's finishing raising, open the door in the northeast part of this lift, and go through. In here, follow the right hand wall to an opening. When you get to it, go through. In here, follow this hall until you see a wall that says "Disaster Area" on it to your left (there is a torch near it too), killing any Imps in your way (be quick, the floor is toxic, and you do have a Radiation Suit). When you see the wall that says "Disaster Area", press the Spacebar on it and it will open like a door, so go through. In here, get to the other end of the room, and get the Armor over here. Now, turn left, and you should see a wall lower, revealing Imps, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes. Kill them all, and now go to the west part of this room (from where they came). Once you get to the west part of this room, turn around, and you should see a wall to your left lower, revealing more Imps, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes. Kill them all, and go through the new opening from where they came from (in the north part of this room). In here, head up the stairs in front of you, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. At the top, press the SpaceBar and it will open like a door. Now, turn back around and head back down the stairs. Back down here, go through the new opening to your left, killing any Revenants or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. In here, get the Red Key. Now turn back around, and head back up the stairs in front of you. Up here again, go through the opening in front of you. In here, go left, back into the level's starting room. Back in here, go through the opening at the other end of this room, killing any Imps or Shotgun Guys or Imps in your way. In here, go all the way straight until you get to a door. When you get to a door, open it, and go through. In here, walk up to the door in front of you. Now, turn back around, and leave this room. In here again, you'll notice the cages with the Arachnotrons have been opened. Get the Blue Key in the cage to the right, killing/Avoiding the Arachnotrons. Now, go back through the door. Back in here, open the door in front of you (this is the Blue Door). In here, open the door across from you, and go through. In here, open the door across from you and go through. Keep doing this until you get to a room where a door ISN'T in front of you for once. When you do, go right, and follow this hall to a door. When you see it (to the left), open it, and go through. In here, go left, and follow this hall until you see a door to your right. When you see it, open it, and go through. In here, get the Yellow Key in front of you. With the yellow key, backtrack to the room with the Blue Door (not the room before the Blue Door, which is the Arachnotron room). Back in here, go through the new opening to your left. In here, the floor you're on will lower like a lift (wait for it to raise again). Once it rises again, follow the right hand wall on this pathway to a switch, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to a switch, hit it, and the wall to your left will lower, so drop down it. Down here, open the door. In here, you'll notice a platform to the left and right. Back up, and *run* to get to the platform to the right. On here, get to the other end of the platform, killing any Archviles in your way. When you get to the end of the platform, turn left. You should see a small platform just in front of you. *Run* to get to it. On here, take the teleporter. When you teleport, you'll be on top of a mountain/platform. Jump off it, and you'll exit the level. **************** Level 28: Heck **************** When you start the level, go through the opening across from you. In here, follow either hall to an opening. When you get to an opening, go through. In here, kill the Lost Souls, and hit the switch in the north part of this room. Now turn around, get the Megasphere, kill the Archvile, and go through the new opening in the south part of the room (if it closes, hit the switch again and go back through). In here, go through the opening in the west part of this room. In here, follow this hall to an opening, and go through. In here, drop down to the pit below you. Down here, turn left. You should see a lift. Press the Spacebar to lower it. Get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, turn right, and follow the left hand wall to the Red Key, killing any Mancubi in your way. Now, drop back down in the pit and go through the opening in the northeast part of this pit. From here, backtrack to the level's starting room. Back in here, go through the opening in the east part of this room. In here, go through the opening in the east part of this room. In here, follow this hall to a pit. When you get to it, walk up to it, and a platform will raise (it's a lift to the pit), revealing an Archvile. Kill it, and drop down to the pit. Down here, get the Yellow Key. Now get to the lift, lower it, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, backtrack all the way back to the start. Back in here, go through the opening in the west part of this room. In here, head up the stairs to your left. At the top, turn right, and go through the opening in front of you, killing any Shotgun Guys or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. In here, go through the opening across from you. In here, follow the left hand wall to a switch, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the switch, hit it. Now turn around. Now, follow the left hand wall to the Blue Key, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the Blue Key, pick it up, and backtrack to the level's starting point. Back in here, go through the opening in the north part of this room. In here, open the Red Door, then open the Blue Door, then open the Yellow Door. In here, kill the Lost Souls, and drop down to the pit in the middle of the room. You'll exit the level. ********************** Level 29: River Styx ********************** When you start the level, go through the opening in this room, killing any Shotgun Guys or Imps in your way. When you go through the opening, follow this tunnel to another room, killing any Demons, Lost Souls, Imps, or Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to another room, walk up to the platform in front of you (you can't get on it). Now, turn left, and follow this platform to a small set of stairs leading up to the platform. When you get to the stairs, use them to get to the platform. Up here, go through the opening across from you. In here, follow the right hand wall to an opening. When you get to the opening, go through it. In here, go through the opening in the north part of this room (don't worry, the lava won't hurt you). In here, follow this pathway to an opening, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the opening, go through it. In here, go through the opening to your left. In here, go through the opening across from you. In here, go through the opening to your right. In here, go through the opening to your left. In here, head up the stairs in front of you. At the top, go through the opening in front of you. In here, go through the opening to your left (watch out for the crushing ceiling). In here, go left, and follow this hall to a teleporter. When you get to the teleporter, step on it. In here, head up the stairs and get the Blue Key in front of you. Now, turn back around and go back through the teleporter. Back in here, go straight until you see an opening to your right, and go through it. In here, go through the opening to the right (Watch out for crushing ceilings). In here, go through the opening to your left. In here, go through the opening in front of you. In here, hit the switch to your right. Now, go back through the opening. In here again, go through the opening to your left. Back in here, go way straight until you get to a gap. When you get to a gap, drop down it. Down here, go through the opening in front of you. In here, go through the opening to your right. In here, hit the switch in front of you. Facing the switch, turn around, and follow the left hand wall and you should come to a wall lowering, revealing an opening. Once the wall is finished lowering, go through the opening. In here, follow this hall to another room. In here, kill the Spider Mastermind, and get the Red Key. Now, turn back around, and leave this hall. Back in here, go through the opening across from you. In here, go through the opening to your right. In here, go through the opening to your left. In here, go all the way straight until you run into a wall. Now, turn right, and go through the opening in front of you. In here, follow this pathway to an opening. When you get to the opening, go through. In here, follow this hall to another opening, and go through. Back in here, use the stairs to get back on the pathways in this room. When you get back on the pathway in this room, use them to go through the opening in the south part of this room. In here, follow this pathway to the Red Door. When you get to the Red Door, open it, and go through. In here, open the Red Door in the south part of this room, killing any Mancubi or Arachnotrons in your way. When you open the Red Door in this room, go through, and take the teleporter. When you teleport, kill the Imps, Baron of Hell, and the Archvile in front of you, and get the Yellow Key. Now, jump off the platform you're on. Back down here, open the Yellow Door in the east part of this room, and go through. In here, take the teleporter in front of you. When you teleport, kill the Pain Elemental in front of you. Now, go through the opening to your right. In here, open the door to your right, and go through. In here, kill the Shotgun Guys in front of you, and hit the switch at the other end of the room. Now, turn right. You'll see the wall lower, revealing the exit teleporter. Step on it, and you'll exit the level. ******************** Level 30: Last Call ******************** Congratulations, you've made it to the final level of TNT! When you start the level, go all the way straight, picking up all the weapons in this room (yes, even the BFG). Now, open the door in this room, and go through. In here is a room with platforms to get to the other end of the room. But you need to cross them in a certain way to get to the other end of this room, otherwise you'll be killed automatically. The () are the pillars you need to step on to get to the other end of the pit. From the "Start", follow the () to the Finish and that's the correct path. Or here's a Walkthrough if you can't do it. Up 2 8. Right 2 9. Up 1 ------------ From here, get on the floor in front of you. Now, when you get to the other end of the room, open the door over here, and go through. In here, follow this hall to an opening. When you get to an opening, go through. In here, go ALL THE WAY straight to the other end of the room. You should run into a wall that has a door on it. When you get to the door, turn around, and you'll see a switch. Hit it. When you do, walk up to the pit to the left. You should see a pathway in the pit rising to the switch. Cross the pathway to the switch, and hit it. Remember the door? It's now open, so go through. In here, follow this hall to a pedestal with a switch on it. Hit the switch, and the door next to you will open, so go through. In here, follow the left hand wall to a staircase. When you get to the staircase, kill the Cyberdemon on it. When it's dead, head up the stairs. At the top, hit the switch in front of you, and head back down the stairs. Down here, get to the pillar in the middle of the room. There are stairs rising to the top of it. Use them to get to the top, and at the top, get the Red Key. Now, drop down to the floor below you, and open the Red Door in the south part of this room, and go through. In here, hit the switch at the other end of the room, and turn around. You'll see stairs rise to the pillar in front of you. Use them to get to the top. At the top, take the teleporter. When you teleport, follow this hall to a door (get the power-ups as you go). When you get to the door, open it, and go through. In here, go all the way straight to the other end of the room. When you get to the other end of this room, there will be a teleporter to your left and right. Take either teleporter. Now, you'll be teleported to the final boss room. In here, head up the stairs in front of you. Now, hug the wall to the right/left until you get on top of the wall. When you do, follow this platform to until you see a lower platform to your left/right. When you see it, drop down it. On here, hit the switch on the pedestal, and the final boss on the wall will be activated. Also, the final boss shouts skulls boxes from its brain, and it will spawn into an enemy, except for Zombiemen, Shotgun Guys, Heavy Weapon Dudes, Lost Souls, Cyberdemons, or Spider Masterminds. Drop down to the floor below you, and head up either staircase. At the top of either one, head up the stairs to your left/right. At the top, kill the Barons of Hell, AND GET ON THE SECOND TO LAST STEP on this staircase. Facing the final boss (on the second to last step), pull out your Rocket Launcher (the only weapon that can defeat it). Now, facing the red hole (its brain) on the final boss, fire your Rockets into its brain. If it goes through, you'll hear a loud scream. Keep firing Rockets into his brain until you beat the level. Now, you get a little story: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Suddenly, all is silent, from one horizon to the other. The agonizing echo of Hell fades away, the nightmare sky turns to blue, the heaps of monster corpses start to evaporate along with the evil stench that filled the air. Jeeze, maybe you've done it, have you really won? Something rumbles in the distance. A blue light begins to glow inside the ruined skull of the demon-spitter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, after the story comes the cast of enemies, showing their movements and growls. Walkthrough (Plutonia) ========================== **************** Level 1: Congo **************** You start the level standing on a Box of Shotgun Shells. You'll see three openings in front of you. Take the one on the left, and open the door. In here, follow the staircase to another room. At the top, kill the Shotgun Guys and grab their Shotguns. Now go through the opening. Follow the hall to another room. In here, kill the Shotgun Guys and take their Shotguns. Now hit the switch in this room. The floor it's on will lower, revealing another room. In here, grab the Backpack, the MegaArmor, and the Box of Shotgun Shells. When you do, backtrack to the level's starting point. Back down here, go through the middle opening this time. Follow the hall to another room. In here, go through the opening to your right. In here, follow this hall to a pillar touching the ceiling and the floor. There is a switch on this pillar. Hit it, and the pillar will lower, revealing a Medikit. Pick it up. Now go in the room in front of you. In here, there are two openings to the left and right of them, containing Shotgun Guys/Revenants (skill level varies). Kill whatever you see, and go through each of the four openings. 3 of them contain a Box of Rockets, and the other one has a Rocket Launcher. When you grab everything, leave this room. Back out here, go through the opening just to your left. Follow it to a door. When you walk up to the door, turn around. You'll see a wall lower, containing two Heavy Weapon Dudes and a Medikit. Kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes, pick up their Chainguns, and get the Medikit. Now open the door in you walked up to. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. See the crates they were on? You can lower one of them. Get to the other end of the room, and turn around, facing the crates. There is a tan one and a bunch of gray ones. Walk up to the tan crate, press the Spacebar, and it will lower. Get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, get the Super Shotgun. When you do, leave this room before the Archvile catches you. Out here, go right. Back in this room, go all the way left, and go through the opening. In here, turn right, and head up the stairs. Up here, turn right, and kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes. When they're gone, grab their Chainguns, and open the only door in this room. In here, go straight to the center of the ledge you're on. Now go left and follow this ledge to a room. In here, kill the Imp, get the Shotgun Shells, and hit the switch. Now leave this room, and out here, get to the center of the ledge you're on, and go left. The floor in front of you will rise, containing a Revenant. Kill it, then go in the room across from you. In here, walk straight to the Red Key, and get it before the Heavy Weapon Dudes and the Mancubus get you. Now leave this room quickly. Back out here, go straight into the room across from you, and back out here, go down the stairs. Back out here, go through the opening just to your right. Follow it to a door. Open it. In here, get to the other end of the room, and open the Red Door. Once you do, hit the switch in front of you, and turn around. You'll see a pillar lowering containing the Blue Key. When you get it, *run* to the door across from you. Open it, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. Back out here, go left, then go through the opening to your left. In here, head up the stairs. At the top, go right, through the opening. In this room, get the Box of Rockets, and open the Blue Door. In here, follow this hall to another Blue Door. Open it. Over here, kill the Mancubi in front of you (or avoid them if you can) and get to the exit teleporter. ************************ Level 2: Well of Souls ************************ When you start the level, hit the only switch in the room you're in. The floor you're on will lower, and as it lowers, kill the two Heavy Weapon Dudes you'll see. Once the floor stops lowering, you should find two openings. Take the one to the right. In here, go left, and you should see an opening containing a Medikit, a Box of Shotgun Shells, and a Super Shotgun. Grab everything. Now, turn around, and kill the Heavy Weapon Dude in front of you. Go straight, get in front of the opening, and get the Box of Bullets to the right of it. Now go in the opening. In here, go in the opening to the left. In here, you should see skull heads to the left and right of you (some of them are switches). From where you are, get to the second skull head to the left, and press the Spacebar. The wall to the right of you will lower, revealing Hell Knights. Kill the Hell Knights. When they're all gone, get to the other end of this room. Over here, hit the switch to the right (it's a skull head). The wall you're on will lower. Down here, kill the Shotgun Guys, the Heavy Weapon Dudes, and the Baron of Hell. When they're all dead, collect the Shotguns and the Chainguns, collect the health and ammo down here, and go through the only opening in this room. Before you do go in the opening, watch out. There are crushing ceilings in front of you, so proceed carefully. At the end of this hall, you'll get to an opening. Once you get to it, go straight, and drop down to the floor in front of you. Down here, kill all the Demons in front of you, and when they're all gone, go through the opening in this room. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, and go straight. In this part of the room is a staircase. Follow it to the top, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes or Revenants in your way. At the top, go through the opening, and in this room, get the Yellow Key in front of you, and avoid the Revenants to your right. Once you get the Yellow Key, drop down to the floor to your right. Down here, go through the only opening. In here, get the Medikit, and go in the teleporter. When you teleport, go straight, and open the door. In here, go straight, through the opening, and get to the other end of the room. Over here again, drop down to the floor below you. Now that you got the Yellow Key, hit the switch on the pedestal. Once you do, take the teleporter in here. Back over here, go straight, and head in the opening to your right. Back in this same hall, head in the opening to your left. In here, go right, through the opening, and in here, kill the Shotgun Guy and get the Red Key. Once you have the Red Key, get back in the hallway. Back in this hall, go right, through the opening. Now go left to a wall, then go in the opening to your right, and in here, head up the stairs. At the top, go through the opening, and in here, turn left. You should see a silver wall with computers on it. Take out your Pistol, either Shotgun, or a Chaingun. Now shoot the computer wall. Turn around. You should see two "guide posts" rise near the edge of the platform you're on. It shows that there is an invisible bridge in this room leading to the other end of the room. Get in the middle of the "guide posts", and go straight, crossing the gap (you're on an invisible bridge). Using this invisible bridge, cross it to the other end of the room. Over here, kill the Revenants in front of you, and go all the way left. Over here you should see a pedestal with a switch on it. Hit it. Now go through the new opening to your right. In here, follow this hall to a switch. When you get to the switch, hit it. The floor you're on will rise. Up here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes and get their Chainguns. Also you can see a gap in this room. Drop down to the gap, and down here, collect the Health Bonuses and the Backpack. Down in this gap is a staircase. Use it to get back up here. Now, take the exit teleporter. **************** Level 3: Aztec **************** You start the level standing on a bunch of useful goodies. Go straight, and *run* to get in the opening across from you. In here, go left, and head up the stairs. At the top, get the Armor and health, and turn around. Now head back down the stairs, and follow them to an opening. Once you get to the opening, go through it. In here, go in the opening across from you, and follow this hallway to another room. When you get to the new room, walk forward and the floor in front of you will rise, revealing an Arch-vile. Kill it. When the Archvile is dead, walk up to the Box of Rockets in this room, and then a wall to the left of you will open. Now go through the opening, and head up the stairs. At the top, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, and go through the opening across from you. Follow this hallway to another room. When you get to the new room, turn left. You'll see a huge gap in front of you. In the middle of the gap is an invisible bridge (it's in between the torches). Cross the invisible bridge to get to the other end of the room. When you get to the other end of the room, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. Also in this room, hit the switch, and the wall it's on will lower. Once the wall lowers, get on the new floor. The wall will rise to the top again. Once it does, get the Medikit and hit the switch up here too. Now turn around. You'll see the Blue Key in mid-air (it's on an invisible platform). Back up, and *run* to get on the invisible platform. Get the Blue Key. Once you have the Blue Key, drop down to the floor below you, and cross the invisible bridge. Use it to get to the other end of the room. Over here, go through the new teleporter. When you teleport, kill the Arachnotron next to you. When she's dead, go through the only opening up here. In this hallway, follow it until you see a switch to the left wall. Hit it. When you hit it, turn around, and kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes. Get their Chainguns, and go right, back into the room we teleported to. Over here, take the teleporter. Back over here, go through the only opening near you. Follow this hall way to a room. Over here, go down the stairs in front of you. At the bottom, go through the opening across from you. Follow this hall to a room. In this room, go through the opening to your right. In here, follow this hallway until you see an opening to your left (ignore the floor that drops). Once you get to the opening to your left, go in it. In here, follow this hallway to a room. Kill the Shotgun Guys in front of you. See the Red Key in the middle of the room? Get on the ledges to the left and right of it, and *run* to get on the platform. Get the Red Key. Now exit this room before you're caught in an Archvile/Baron of Hell jam. Back in this hall, follow it to the other hall. Back in here, go left, and follow this hall to a room. In here, cross the bridge in front of you to an opening. Go through the opening, and watch out for the Revenant that pop up. Kill them. Also in this room, there are two teleporters. One has Red Lights around it and one has blue lights around it. Go in the teleporter that has Red Lights in it. In this room, follow the hall to a switch. Hit it. Now turn around and go through the teleporter. Back in this room, go through the teleporter with Blue Lights. In this room, kill the Revenant, and hit the switch in this room (collect the Medikits near it). Now turn around. You'll see a pillar on the exit teleporter lowering, allowing you to get to the exit teleporter. Back up, and *run* across the gap to the exit teleporter. **************** Level 4: Caged **************** When you start the level, turn around. You'll see a switch. Walk up to it, and hit it. Now go through the new lowered teleporter next to you. When you teleport, hit the switch in front of you. The floor you're on will lower. Now walk straight until you see an opening to your left. Go through it. In here, follow this hall to an opening. Go in it. In this room, there is a switch on the wall to your right. Hit it. Once the switch is hit, the wall to the left of you will open, and there will be a new pathway to walk on to your left too. Get on the pathway, and follow it to the Yellow Key, killing any Cacodemons in your way. On your way to the Yellow Key, pick up the Health and Ammo you'll pass. Once you have the Yellow Key, turn around, and get on the pathway. Use the pathway to get back to the switch you hit to create the pathway. Once you're on the platform with the switch on it, go through the opening to your right. In this room, collect the Berserk and the ammo, and go through the only opening in this room (don't worry, the Heavy Weapon Dudes can't attack you yet). In this opening, go down the stairs. Down here, kill the Revenants, and go in the room. In here, hit the switch on the pedestal to the right. When you hit it, get the health to the right of the pedestal, and the Box of Shotgun Shells to the left of the pedestal. Now leave this room. Back in here, kill the Hell Knights and Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. When all of the enemies are gone, collect the Shotgun Ammo in here. Now leave this room, going through the other opening. Back out here, go all the way straight until you get to an opening to your left. Go through it, and go all the way straight to the Yellow Door, killing any Cacodemons or Pain Elementals in your way. When you get to the Yellow Door, open it. In here, get to the other end of the room, and hit the switch over here. When you hit the switch, go through either opening to the left or right of you. In these openings, kill the Imps in front of you, get the Box of Rockets and the Box of Shotgun Shells, and hit the switch in this room. Now, go back through either opening, and back out here, go through the Yellow Door, and avoid the Barons of Hell too. Back out here, go all the way straight until you see the exit door (can't open it). Just before the exit door is an opening to the left. Go in it. In here, go all the way straight and get up to the switch across from you. Hit it. The wall it's on will lower, revealing a teleporter. Go through it. When you teleport, go straight and get to the edge of the platform you're on. Now turn around. See the stairs in front of you? Kill the Revenant on them. When it's dead, go up the stairs, and at the top, hit the switch. Now turn around. You'll see a wall lower, revealing 3 Mancubi. Go left, grab the Radiation Suit, and drop into the pit below you. Down here, kill each Mancubus, and when they're all gone, go into the opening they came out of. In here, get the health and ammo, and get the Blue Key. Once you grab all the stuff, turn around. See that Lost Soul on top of the teleporter? Kill the Lost Soul, and go through the teleporter. When you teleport, go all the way straight into the opening. In here, hit the switch to your right and the lift to your left will lower. Get on the lift, and ride it to the top. At the top, pick up the MegaArmor in front of you. Now turn around and you'll see that the lift has dropped. Go back down. Down here again, leave this opening, and go through the teleporter across from you. When you teleport, go straight until you see an opening to your left. Go through it, and follow this opening to the Blue Door, killing any Barons of Hell, Cacodemons, or Pain Elementals in your way. When you get to the Blue Door, open it. In this room, turn left. Over here, drop down to the pit to your right. Down here, go up the stairs to your right. At the top, hit the switch. Once you hit the switch, turn right. See the platform in front of you? Back up, and *run* to get on it. When you get on the platform, turn left, and leave this room. Back out here, go straight until you see an opening to your left. Go through it, and go all the way straight, and you'll notice the exit door has been opened. Go in it. In here, hit the switch in front of you. The walls to the right and left of you will lower, revealing Heavy Weapon Dudes. Kill them, and by now, the walls should've raised. Hit the switch to lower them. Now, go through either opening. Follow the Hall to another room. In here, kill the Shotgun Guys in front of you. When they are dead, pick up the Shotguns, and go through the silver teleporter. In here, hit the exit switch. ********************* Level 5: Ghost Town ********************* When you start the level, go straight, through the opening. In here, head right. Over here is a pillar with a switch on it. Hit it. The pillar will lower, containing a Baron of Hell/Revenant. Kill whatever's there, and go through the opening the enemy was blocking. In here, head up the stairs, and at the top, go through the opening, and drop down to the floor below you. Down here, go straight, into the opening across from you. Go up the stairs in this opening, and at the top, go in the opening to the left, and follow this hall until you see an opening to your right, killing the Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the opening to the right, go in it. In here, go all the way straight. As you go, you'll see the floor rise, containing the Spider Mastermind. Either kill it or avoid it, and whatever you do, keep going straight and get the Blue Key. Once you have the Blue Key, turn around, and exit this room (and avoid the Revenants). Back out here, go through the opening to the left, and follow this hall to an opening. When you get to the opening, go through it, and go left and go through the opening across from you. In here, get the Super Shotgun, and go through the teleporter. When you teleport, you'll be standing on a Plasma Gun. Now *Run* straight to get to the Megasphere on the pillar. Standing on the pillar, drop down to the right, and go straight until you see an opening you your left. Go through it, and head up the stairs. At the top, go through the opening to your right. In here, follow this hall to an opening. Go in it, and over here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes, get their Chainguns, and go through the opening to the left. In here, go through either opening to your left or right. Whatever one you go through, follow the hall to another room. When you get to the room, go up the stairs in the middle of the room. At the top, go straight, through the opening. In here, get in front of the door across from you. Now try to open it. Instead, the walls to the left and right of you will open, revealing Barons of Hell. Kill the Barons of Hell. When they are all gone, facing the door, go left. See the opening with the Archvile inside? Kill it. Now get the Medikits, and head back into the opening where the Archvile was. Hit the switch inside. Turn around, and go straight. Remember the door we try to open? It's open now. Go inside, and go through the exit teleporter. *********************** Level 6: Baron's Lair *********************** See that skull box in the air in front of you? Beneath it are a Super Shotgun, Chaingun, Rocket Launcher, and a Plasma Gun hidden. Collect all of them. Now, head down either staircase on this platform. Down here, there are four doors, and 3 of them have "flags" to the left and right of them. Open the door with has black "flags" to the left and right of them. In here, head down either staircase to the left or right of them, and follow either one to MegaArmor and a Box of Rockets. Now, turn left/right, and you'll see a pit with a few Mancubi. Kill all of them, and go in the pit they are in. Down here, hit the switch. When you hit the switch, walls to the left and right of you will open, revealing Arachnotrons. Kill all of them, and when they are all dead, facing the switch you hit, go left, and into the opening. In here, go all the way left and you should see a door. Turn around, and you'll see a switch. Hit it, and turn around. The door will open. In here, follow this staircase to a door, and watch out for the Shotgun Guys. When you get to the door, don't go through yet. Wait for the Revenants to come near you, and kill them. When they are all gone, go through the door, go right, and get the Red Key. Now go through either teleporter in here too. When you teleport, leave this room (the entrance is right near you). Back in this starting room, open the door with Red "Flags" to the left and right of it (this is the Red Door). In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes to the left and right of you. When they're dead, go straight, and blow up the barrels in front of you (stay at a safe distance too). Now, Cacodemons and Pain Elementals should start coming to attack you. Kill all of them. When the Cacodemons and Pain Elementals are gone, drop down to the gap in the middle of the room. Down here, kill all the Hell Knights. When they are all dead, blow up the barrels down here, and get the Blue Key. Now climb up the stairs, and back up here, get to the door, and exit this room. Back out here, open the door that has Blue "Flags" to the left and right of them (this is the Blue Door). In here, hit the switch in front of you, get to the other end of the room, killing any Demons in your way. When you get to the other end of the room, turn around. You should see switches to the left and right of you. Hit each, and when you two, leave this room from where you came from, killing any Revenants or Demons in your way. Back in this starting room, the only door we haven't gone through yet is opened. Get to the door, and go through. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes, Demons, Spectres, and Revenants in front of you. When they are all dead, get to the other end of the room, and head up the stairs. Up here, kill the Imps. Also up here there are two openings. One of them has a switch inside. Hit it, and go back downstairs. Down here, one of the walls is lowering, revealing Revenants. Kill all of them. When all of them are dead, go in the opening they came out of, and hit the switch in this opening. Now turn left, and the other wall will lower, revealing a Cyberdemon. Save your game and use your Rocket Launcher or Plasma Gun to kill it. When you kill the Cyberdemon, go in the opening it came out of, get the Box of Rockets and the Medikits, and hit the switch in here too. It lowers the platforms the Heavy Weapon Dudes were on. When you hit the switch, turn around, and leave this opening. You'll see the platforms the Heavy Weapon Dudes were on have lowered. Get to either one (both have a switch you need you hit), and when you get to a platform, hit the switch you can see. When you hit the first switch, go back into the opening where the Cyberdemon came out of, and hit the switch again. The platforms will lower again. Get to the other platform and hit the switch in front of you. Now you have it both switches. Go left/right and head up the stairs. Up here, you'll notice a new opening. Go through it, and follow this hall to the exit teleporter. Before you start the next level, you get a little story: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You gloat over the steaming Carcass of the guardian. With its death, you wrested the accelerator from the stinking claws of Hell. You relax and glance around the room. Damn! There was supposed to be at least one working Prototype, but you can't see it. The Demons must've taken it. You must find the prototype, or all your struggles will have been wasted. Keep moving, keep fighting, keep killing. Oh yes, keep living, too. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Plus, why are there no Barons of Hell in this level if it's named "Baron's Lair"? Nobody knows. ********************* Level 7: Caughtyard ********************* When you start the level, pull out your Plasma Gun or Rocket Launcher, and kill all the Mancubi down here (there is some Rocket Launcher ammo here if you need any). When all of the Mancubi are dead, two walls in this room will lower, revealing lifts. Get to either lift, and lower it, and it will reveal a Baron of Hell. Kill it. Now, get on the lift, and ride it to the top. When you get to the top, get to the east part of the platform you're on (switch to your Automap for help), killing any Zombiemen or Revenants in your way. When you get to the east part of the platform you're on, you'll see an opening with a staircase. Get in center with the staircase, back up, and *run* straight to get off this platform, and to get on the pillar that has the Yellow Key in front of you (and the Megasphere). Once you got the Yellow Key, drop down to the floor below you. Down here, lower either lift you're on, and ride it to the top. Once you get to the top, get to the west part of this platform, killing any Zombiemen or Revenants in your way. When you get to the west part of the platform, walk up to the Yellow Bars and press the Spacebar to remove them. Now, go straight, and hit the switch in front of you. Turn around, and kill the Hell Knight/Heavy Weapon Dude that will teleport in front of you. Get to the east part of this platform again, get in center with the stairs, and *run* straight to get off this platform. Down here, lower either lift again. Instead of riding it to the top, you'll see a new bridge across from you. Cross the lift and the bridge, and out here, get to the northeast part of this room, killing any Arachnotrons in your way. Over here, you should see a gap leading to a door. Drop down into the gap, and down here, open the door. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes, and go all the way straight, and kill the Arachnotron in front of you. Now get to the exit teleporter. Just before you step on it, turn around, and get to the other end of the room. Over here there are two new openings, containing Shotgun Guys and Heavy Weapon Dudes, and useful items. Grab everything you can. Once you do, leave your opening, go left/right, and get to the exit telelporter. **************** Level 8: Realm **************** When you start the level, go straight and go into the water. When you do, the floor you're on will lower. Down here, kill the Shotgun Guys, get their Shotguns, and head into the door they were next too. In here, kill the Shotgun Guys, get all the Shotgun ammo in here, and hit the only switch in this room. When you hit the switch, the lifts to the left and right of you will lower, containing Barons of Hell. Kill them both, lower the lifts again, and take either one. Ride either one to the top. At the top, collect the Medikits next to you. Now get to the other end of the room, and in here, go through the opening and in here, kill the Hell Knights, Pain Elementals, Revenants, and Heavy Weapon Dudes, and get the Plasma Gun just after the opening. When all of the enemies are gone, with your back against the opening you came out of, go straight, and down in this water, head right, and go through the opening. Follow this hall to another room, killing any Mancubi in your way. When you get to the room, turn right and open the door. In here, hit the switch on the pedestal. Now, leave this small room, go back through the hall to your left (follow it to the other room), and back over here, go through the new opening to your right. In here, follow this hall to an opening, killing any Revenants in your way. When you get to the opening, go in it. Up here, head right, and hit the switch to your right. Now, turn left. You'll see a wall lower, revealing another opening. Drop down to the water below you, and go through the new opening. In here, head through the opening to your right, and follow this hall to a wall, killing any Revenants in your way. When you get to the wall, there should be a staircase to your left. Facing the staircase, equip your Fist, Chainsaw, Pistol, either Shotgun, or a Chaingun and turn around. See that wall? Shoot it with any gun mentioned above. The wall will open, revealing Health Bonuses. Get them, turn around, and head down the stairs. Down here, hit the switch in front of you, and the wall in front of you will lower, revealing an opening and a Heavy Weapon Dude. Kill it, and go through the opening. In here, go right and you'll see a pit, and kill any Spectres. When you get to the pit, drop down to the floor below you, and down here, go straight and go through the opening in front of you. In here, there is a lift to the left and right of you on that green building in front of you. Lower either lift, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, get the Blue Key. Now, Heavy Weapon Dudes will start to teleport on the lifts. Kill all the Heavy Weapon Dudes (from both lifts), and when they're all gone, ride either lift down. Back down here, go through the opening to your left. In here, turn right, and you'll see a toxic floor in front of you, and barrels in the center. Blow them up, and they should kill most of the Shotgun Guys and the Heavy Weapon Dudes on the "block steps" that the barrels are in front of, and kill the remains of the Shotgun Guys and Heavy Weapon Dudes. Also, kill the Cacodemons and the Pain Elementals in front of you too. When they are gone, *run* to the east part of the toxic pit, and get on the "block step" next to you. Slowly, use these "block steps" to get to the switch across from you. When you get to the switch hit it, and drop down to the toxic pit to your right, and from here, go straight and get to the normal floor. Over here, kill the Revenants and when they are dead, lower the lift on this part of the room. When it lowers, get on the lift, and ride it to the top. Up here, open the door, and go all the way straight to the opening across from you. Back in this room, head up the stairs to your right and up here, hit the switch to your left. Now go through the opening to your right. Back in here, go either left or right and you'll see an opening to your left/right. When you see the opening to your left/right, go through it, and try to go straight. As you go straight, an Archvile will pop up. Kill it, and then Revenants will start to teleport in front of you. Kill them all and when they are all dead, go straight (from where the Archvile came from), and walk up to the exit teleporter, and the poll on it will lower. Before you can step on it, wait for the poll on it to lower. When it's done lowering, go through the exit teleporter. ******************** Level 9: Abattoire ******************** When you start the level, kill the Cacodemon in front of you. When it's dead, go straight, and get to the other end of the room. Over here, go right, and head through the opening over here. In here, go straight, and pick up the Super Shotgun in front of you. Then, the floor around you will lower. Drop down into the new gap. Down here, go through the opening, and kill the Demons in front of you. Also, go through the teleporter. In here, go straight, and pick up the Plasma Gun and the Energy Cells in the middle of the room. Now, keep going straight, and go up the stairs in front of you. Up here, kill the Revenants. When they are dead, hit the two skull head switches near you. They will lower a pillar with the Blue Key and raise a platform just next to you. Cross the platform, and pick up the Blue Key. Now turn around, and *run* all the way straight to the other end of the room and get to the teleporter at the other end of the room, before you're caught in a major enemy teleporting jam. When you get to the teleporter, go through it. When you teleport, go through the opening in here. Follow it to a wall (it's a lift). When you get to the wall, press the Spacebar to lower it, and when it lowers, get on this lift, and ride it to the top. Up here, go through the opening, and back in this starting room, follow the right wall to the Blue Door. When you get to the Blue Door, open it. In here, hit the switch on the pedestal in front of you. When you hit it, a pathway in front of you will rise from the pit. When it's done rising, cross this new pathway, and follow it to two doors (one's a normal door, one's a Yellow Door). Open the normal door. In here, kill the Imps and Mancubi in front of you. When they are all dead, take either stairway in here, and at the top of either one, you'll see a pathway leading to the center of the room. Cross it to the Yellow Key. When you have it, leave this room. Back out here, open the Yellow Door to your left. In here, kill the Arachnotrons in front of you. When they are dead, get the Red Key in this room. Now leave before the new Spectres and Heavy Weapon Dudes get you. Back out here, cross the pathway to your left. At the end, open the Blue Door over here, avoiding the Heavy Weapon Dudes and the Mancubi. Back in here, follow this left wall to the Red, Yellow, and Blue bars. Press the Spacebar to remove each of them, and go through the teleporter you can now access. When you teleport, kill the Cacodemons, Imps, Barons of Hell, and Hell Knights surrounding you. When you walk around, the platform they're on should lower. When they are all dead, walk up to the door in here. Before you open it, turn around, and get to the other end of the room. Over here, check the walls until one of the walls open, revealing a Soulsphere. Grab it. Now turn around and open the door. Go through. In here, go straight, and take either pathway to the other end of the room. Over here you'll find a pedestal with a switch on it. Hit it, and turn around. A platform will be raising to the exit teleporter. While it's raising, kill the Imps, Mancubi, and Heavy Weapon Dudes around you before you get killed. Once the platform is done raising, kill the Imps on it, and cross it to the exit teleporter. Step on it. ********************* Level 10: Onslaught ********************* At the start, go in the cage in the middle of the room and get the Blue Key. Now, turn around, and leave this cage. Kill the Cacodemons, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes in this room, and when they are all dead, grab all the health and ammo in this room, and get the Invisibility Sphere next to the starting exit teleporter. Also in this room is a door to the right of the Blue Bars. Open it, and in here, hit the switch. Now leave this room. The bars have lowered, and now go through the new opening. In here, go all the way left and you'll see an opening. Go through it. In here, open the door across from you, and hit the switch in front of you (avoid the Baron of Hell). The floor you're on will lower. Down here, kill all the Demons, and head right, and go through the opening. In here, go through the opening to your right. In here, kill the Imps and Spectres and check the walls to your right from where you entered this hall, and you should find a wall that will lower, revealing two Stimpacks and two Box of Rockets. Grab everything, and leave this opening. Back out here, go right, and you'll see an opening to your left. Go through it. In here, kill the Hell Knights, get the Medikits, and hit the switch in this room. Now leave. Back in here, kill the Imps, Shotgun Guys, Spectres, and Demons. With your back against the opening you just came out of, go through the opening to your left. In here, go up the stairs to your right, and at the top, go through the opening. In here, kill the Spectre, and grab the Medikits, the Box of Shotgun Shells, and the Rocket Launcher. Now go through the opening in this room and go up the stairs. At the top, walk up to the pedestal, and it will lower. Before going straight, turn around, head down the stairs. Back down here, the pillar with the MegaArmor has lowered. Get the MegaArmor and head back up the stairs. Back up here, walk to the pedestal again, and it will lower. Before you hit the switch in this room, go right, through the opening. In here, you'll be in front of a staircase leading down (and one leading up). Head down the stairs, get in front of the other staircase in front of you, and before you head up those stairs, check the walls to the left. The wall will lower, revealing a Plasma Gun. Grab it, and turn around. Get in between the stairs again. Now, check the wall to the left again, and turn around. You'll see another wall lower. Go through the new opening, and grab the Medikit, Box of Rockets, and an Invisibility Sphere. Grab everything. Get in between the stairs again, and go left up the stairs. Back up here, get the health, ammo, and hit the switch in this room. Now turn left, go down the stairs, then up the stairs in front of you, and go through the new opening at the top. Back in this room, kill the Revenants, Archviles, and Mancubi in front of you. When they are all dead, get the Yellow Key in the middle of the room. Once you get the Key, turn left and get to the wall. Now go all the way left and you'll see the Yellow Door. Open it, killing any Imps, Pain Elementals, or Hell Knights in your way. When you open the door, go through. In here, go left, then go left again. Over here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes and the Archviles in front of you, and when they are dead, go straight and get the Red Key. Now turn around, go through the Yellow Door, and leave this room. Back out here, kill the Imps, Pain Elementals, and the Revenants in front of you. When they are all dead, with your back against the Yellow Door, go all the way straight to the other end of the room. Over here, go all the way right and get to the other end of the room. Over here, open the Red Door (it's a switch in between Red Bars). Now kill the Zombiemen in front of you, and hit the switch it was in front of. Now get back to the Yellow Door, and open it. Go through. In here again, you'll notice the Red Door has opened. Go through the new opening, and in here, head left. Follow this pathway to the exit teleporter, killing any Shotgun Guys, Barons of Hell, or Hell Knights in your way. When you get to the exit teleporter, step on it. ****************** Level 11: Hunted ****************** Note that since this level is a very annoying maze filled with Archviles, I asked Led Meister if I could use his Walkthrough at his site, because it would take me forever to guide this level. Here are his instructions from his site: Note that most closed doors in this maze will only open when a player crosses a nearby invisible floor trigger (or"tripwire"). The location of each invisible tripwire is indicated by a pair of thin, vertical metal strips which are mounted across from each other on opposing walls. When a player passes between a pair of these vertical strips, the tripwire there is activated, and a nearby door will open up for a few seconds, then close again. If at any time you attempt to get through a door but it closes too soon, reverse your steps until you cross the correct tripwire, then run to the door again. The player first appears on this level in a large room in the middle of the maze. The following path may be used to access the red key and escape the maze: * Activate the button on the east wall of the starting room, step outside, and turn right (south). * Follow the left-hand wall and go through a triggered door on your left. * Follow the right-hand wall, and continue east to pass a door on your right. * Continue along the right-hand wall, and go through a triggered door on your right. * Turn right and walk straight (east) through and past a 4-way intersection. * Follow the left-hand wall around a few corners, and walk east past a door on the right. * Continue to a nearby triggered door on your left, and step through. * Follow the left-hand wall north, passing an opening on the right. * Turn left at the end of the passage, and follow the left-hand wall to the red key. * Turn south, follow right-hand wall for a few paces, and go through the opening on your right. * Follow the right-hand wall south and go through the triggered door ahead. * Follow the right-hand wall around several corners, and walk west past an opening on your right. * Continue west past another opening, to small open area with a switch that will be on your right as you enter. * Activate the switch. * Turn and go east, passing a closed door on your right, and past an opening a few paces farther down on the right. * Follow the right-hand wall around a few corners and step through the triggered door on your right. * Follow the right-hand wall south to an opening on your right, and step into to a 4-way intersection there. * At the 4-way intersection, walk west a couple of paces, stepping past a short dead-end passage on the right, and step across the nearby floor trigger to your left, then turn and go back into the 4-way intersection. * Go north and follow the right-hand wall to the triggered door ahead, and step through. * Turn left, and follow the left-hand wall around a few corners, go through a triggered door and turn left. * Follow the left-hand wall around to a door on your left. * Walk a few paces north to cross a floor trigger that opens the door you just passed, then turn around and go back to that door and step through. * Continue west a few steps, passing an opening on your right. * Take a step into the passage on your left to cross a floor trigger located at the edge of the passage. * Turn around and walk north through the triggered door. * Follow the left-hand wall around a few corners, and continue east past an opening on your left. * Continue following the left-hand wall past a switch on the left, and look for teleporter pad at the end of a short passage on your left. * Step on the teleporter pad to leave the maze. When you teleport out of the maze you'll appear in a large, square, open area on the north end of the level. In the southwest corner of this area is a spiral stairway. Walk to the top of this stairway and pick up the BFG-9000 there. Stepping down to the ground off of the top platform will cause a new teleporter pad to become accessible in the southeast corner. Step on that teleporter and you'll appear on top of the large stone platform nearby. Leading up from the northeast and northwest corners of this platform are a pair of curving stairways. Each stairway leads to an exit teleporter. Take the one on the left to finish the level because the right teleporter leads to a room of Archviles and if you take that route, you'll finish the level with 1% health. Taking the exit teleporter on the left will let you finish this level safely. It is recommended that you save your game before exiting this level. Now, before you enter the level, you get a little story: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Even the deadly Archvile Labyrinth could not stop you, and you've gotten to the prototype accelerator which is soon efficiently and permanently deactivated. You're good at that kind of thing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***************** Level 12: Speed ***************** When you start the level, pick up the Chaingun behind you. Imps will appear. Kill them all. When they are all dead, grab the health and ammo in this room. Now drop in the pit in this room. Down here, get the Super Shotgun, and open the door, and go through. In here, kill the Cacodemons and Hell Knights in front of you. With your back against the door, go through the opening to your left. In here, follow this hall until you get to a gap. When you see the gap, drop down. Down here, go left, and go through the opening across from you, killing any Shotgun Guys, Imps, or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you go inside the opening, head right up the stairs. Up here, kill the Mancubus, and grab the health, ammo, and the Yellow Key. Now, go through the only opening in this room, and follow it to another opening, killing the Hell Knight in your way. When you get to the opening, go through. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dude, and with your back against the opening you came out of, turn right. You'll see another opening. Get in center with the opening, and *run* straight, going through. You should land on a teleporter. When you teleport, kill the Shotgun Guy near you, and get on the platform he was on. On this platform, go through the opening, and follow it to another opening, killing any Imps, Shotgun Guys, or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the opening, go through. Don't drop to the pit. Instead, drop down to the platform just to the left of you, collect the health, and take the teleporter. Over here, kill the Hell Knights and the Heavy Weapon Dudes, and open the door on this platform. In here, hit the switch in front of you. Now turn around, go straight, and drop down to the pit below you. Down here, go all the way straight, and go in the opening across from you, killing any Cacodemons or Pain Elementals in your way. In the opening lower the lift. When the lift finished lowering, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, kill the Revenants and the Mancubus. When the are all dead, go through the opening to the right. In here, go all the way straight to the other end of the room. Over here, hit the switch on the pedestal, turn around, and kill the Shotgun Guys and Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. Now turn back around. See the Cyberdemon on that platform? Unload your Rockets and Cells and kill him. When he's dead, get in center with the platform he was on, and *run* straight to get on the platform. On here, get the Red Key. Now drop down in the pit. Down here, go through the opening again, and in here, lower the lift, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here again, go through the opening to your right. In here, head up the stairs to your left and at the top, follow this hall to the Blue Key. When you have the Blue Key, turn around and go straight. You will be teleported. Up here there are 4 alcoves and 2 Archviles teleport non-stop to each alcove (very fast). Kill them both, and when they are both dead, hit all 4 switches from each alcove. Now drop down to the pit. Back down here, go through the opening, lower the lift, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, go through the opening to the left. In here, go straight, killing any Revenants in your way. In this room, go through the opening to your left, and follow this hall to another opening. Go through it. In this big room, head all the way left to the switch. Hit it, and the wall it's on will lower. Now hit the next switch in front of you. Then turn around and wait (try to avoid the Heavy Weapon Dudes). There is a pathway to your left rising to a platform. When it is finished rising, cross it, and hit the switch in front of you (it's a door, and it will open). Kill the Archvile in front of you, get the BFG, and hit the switch in front of you too. Leave this little room. Out here, a new pathway is rising. When it's done rising, cross it to another platform, and over here, kill the Revenants and the Archvile in the opening. When they are all dead go through the opening, and hit the switch in front of you. Turn around and leave this little room. ********************* Level 13: The Crypt ********************* When you start the level, kill all the Lost Souls around you. Now get the health and ammo in this room. See the door in here? Hit both switches next to the door. The door will now open. Go through. In here, get the Yellow Key in the middle of the room. 4 pillars in here will lower, revealing 4 Mancubi. Kill all of them, and get the health, ammo, and armor in this room. Now, facing the Blue Bars in this room, open the Yellow Door to your right. In here, follow this pathway to an opening. In here, kill the Hell Knights, and go straight. Over here, walk around, and the floor you're on should lower. Down here, go right, then right again. Over here you'll see two openings. Go through the one on the left. In here, head up the stairs to your right. Up here, kill the Shotgun Guys around you, collect their Shotguns, and go through the opening. In here, go straight until you see an opening to your right. Go through, and then you'll see Heavy Weapon Dudes and an Archvile. Kill all of them, and get the Heavy Weapon Dude's Chainguns. Now, go through the opening across the lava pool. In here, hit the switch. Now go back through the opening. In the lava pool, see the little pit to the left? Go to it, and drop down it. Down here, go all the way left, and you should come across a teleporter. Step on it, and you'll be teleported. You should telefrag a Zombiemen. Anyways, kill it, and get the Blue Key. Now drop down to the floor below. Down here, go all the way left until you get to a wall, killing any Cacodemons, Hell Knights, Barons of Hell, or Arachnotrons in your way. Now, turn right. You should see an opening to the right. Go in it. In here, hit the switch, and it will lower the lift, then get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, follow this pathway back to the Yellow Door. Open it. Back in here, open the Yellow Door across from you. In here, go left, and open the Blue Door (don't worry, the floor isn't poisonous), and kill the Baron of Hell in front of you. In here, hit the switch in front of you. Now, turn around and leave this room. Back in this room, turn left. You'll see that the Blue Bars have been lowered. Go through the new opening that's been revealed. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes, and go through the opening to the left. In here, kill the Zombiemen and the Heavy Weapon Dudes, and hit the switch on the pedestal in the middle of the room. The bars surrounding the exit teleporter in front of you will lower. Go straight, and step on the exit teleporter. ******************* Level 14: Genesis ******************* When you start the level, go through either opening to the left or right of you. Whichever one you go through, follow it to another opening. When you get to the opening, go through it. In here, go in the opening to the right. In here, head up the stairs to the left. At the top, collect the Box of Shotgun Shells, and head right. See that opening? Back up, and *run* straight to get through the opening (there is a gap). Over here, go all the way straight to the other end of the room, killing any Revenants in your way. When you bump into a wall, turn right, and kill the Revenant in front of you. Now, go straight until you see an opening to your left, killing the Shotgun Guy in your way. When you see the opening to your left, go through it. In here, follow this pathway to the two Medikits and the Invisibility Sphere. Now turn around. The pathway is lowering. Also part of the wall in front of you is lowering, revealing a staircase. Drop down to the pit, go straight, and head up the stairs. Up here, head right, and follow this platform to a switch, killing any Revenants, Shotgun Guys, Hell Knights, Mancubi, Cacodemons, or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the switch, hit it. The pathway is rising again. Drop down to the pit below you and step on the teleporter. You'll be teleported back to the pathway. Follow it back to the opening. Go back through. In this hall again, head left, and follow this hall to an opening to the right. When you see it, go through. In here, cross this pathway to the Yellow Key. When you have the Yellow Key, keep going straight, and drop down in the gap below you, killing any Cacodemons, Archviles, or Shotgun Guys in your way. Down here, go straight to the other end of the room, killing the Shotgun Guys, Revenants, and Archviles in your way. Over here, open the Yellow Door. In here, blow up the barrels, and kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. Now, take either teleporter. Up here, head right, and go through the opening. In here, follow this hall to the exit teleporter, killing any Imps or Revenants in your way. When you get to the exit teleporter, step on it. ************************ Level 15: The Twilight ************************ There are plenty of secrets here you won't want to miss, so I'll guide you through them. When you start the level, take the teleporter in front of you. When you teleport, hit the switch on the wall in front of you, and the floor you're on will lower like a lift. Down here, go all the way right until you see a part of a wall to your right in between the bars. Once you see it, check it, and it should open like a door. In here, go straight and hit the switch in front of you (so you'll get credit for a secret). Now, go turn right and you should see a new opening across from you. Go in it. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dude in the cage to your right, and save your game (in case you fall in the lava pit, there's no way out of it). Also, kill the Revenants on the higher platform to your right. See those pillars leading to the platform? Cross all of them to the platform the Revenants were on (each pillar you step on counts as a secret!!!). On the platform, get the Megasphere, go back down the pillars, go right, and leave this room. Back out here, go all the way straight until you get to a Rocket Launcher (where the Rocket Launcher is, call this the middle pathway, and don't get the Rocket Launcher yet). Facing the Rocket Launcher, go right until you get to a door. WATCH OUT FOR THE PESKY HELL KNIGHTS AND REVENANTS THAT'LL TELEPORT IN FRONT OF YOU!!! The BFG should make short work of them. When you get to the door, open it, and go through. In here, get the Yellow Key in front of you. Now, turn back around, and leave this room. Back in here, kill any more enemies that teleported in front of you. Now, get back to the middle pathway. Facing the Rocket Launcher, turn around. See that small opening in between the staircase in front of you and your right? Go through it. Down here, take the teleporter. When you teleport, get all the health, armor, and ammo in this room. Also, there is a hidden teleporter in the southern part of this room. So check the walls until you find a hidden door revealing a telelporter. When you find it, take it. When you teleport, kill the Mancubus in front of you (or if you already telfragged it), and get the Box of Rockets and the Medikit. Now, open the door to your left, and go through. In here, get the Box of Shotgun Shells and the Invisibility Sphere, then take the teleporter. When you teleport, you'll be back at the middle pathway. Turn left to face the Rocket Launcher. Without grabbing it, drop down to the pit in front of you (try to drop down to the left). Down here, take the teleporter to your left. When you teleport, check the wall to your right and a hidden door should open, revealing a BFG. Grab it, then leave this secret room. Back in here, get the Energy Cell Pack, the Plasma Gun, and the Soulsphere in front of you (man, this place has awesome stuff). Now turn left to face an opening. See that Hell Knight on the pillar? Kill it, then save your game. Pull out a small weapon so you can see the pillar. Now, *run* forward to get on it (if you miss, load up your saved game). On the pillar, drop down to the pit below you (not to the lift, you may get in a teleporter). Down here, go through the new opening to your lift (the pillar you landed on opens up this opening). In here, grab the Invincibility Sphere, turn back around, and go through the teleporter. You'll be teleported back to the center pathway. Now turn around, and go all the way straight until you get to a switch (kill any Heavy Weapon Dudes around you). When you get to a switch, hit it, and a pathway will rise to your left. Cross it to a switch, and hit the switch. It will open like a door, so go through. Now, hit the switch in front of you. Once you hit the switch, run like mad back to the center pathway, killing any Arch-viles, Heavy Weapon Dudes, Cacodemons, or Pain Elementals in front of you. By now your Invincibility should be wearing off. Back at the center pathway, turn left to face the Rocket Launcher. Facing it, head up the stairs in front of you. At the top, get the Megasphere, and ignore the Spider Mastermind on hard skill levels. Now continue all the way straight, but DON'T GO IN THE TELEPORTER you'll see. Instead, check the wall to the left of it (not the bars/cages) until the wall lowers, revealing another teleporter. Now, back up, and *run* straight to get to that teleporter. When you teleport, open the door in front of you. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes, get their Chainguns, get the Energy Cell Packs, and step on the exit teleporter (this takes you to the secret exit ;)). Before you start the next level, you get a little story: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You've found the second hardest level we got. Hope you have a Saved Game a Level or Two previous. If not, be prepared to die aplenty. For master marines only. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ******************** Level 31: Cyberden ******************** When you start the level, go all the way straight to the other end of the room. Over here, head down the stairs, then go up the stairs in front of you. Up here, get the Super Shotgun and the two Medikits, and go through the opening to your right. In here, head up the stairs to your right. At the top, go all the way straight, and over here, head down the stairs to your right. At the bottom, get the Rocket Launcher, and the Boxes of Shotgun Shells, and hit the switch on the demon head. Now backtrack all the way to the level's starting point (avoid the Hell Knights). You'll see that one of the Cyberdemon cages have been lowered, revealing a Cyberdemon. Kill the Cyberdemon, and go to the cage where it came out from. Over here, get the Boxes of Rockets, and hit the switch. The door next to you will lower. Now go through the new opening. In here, get the Boxes of Rockets and the Medikits, and hit the switch in here. Now leave this room. Out here, get back to the room where we saw all those Hell Knights. Back in that room, kill all the Hell Knights. Also, in the northeast corner of this room, there is a new opening. Go through it. In here, kill the Spectres, and get the Box of Shotgun Shells. Also, hit the switch on the Demon Head picture. Now, backtrack to the level's starting point again. You'll notice that another Cyberdemon has been released from its cage. Kill it, and go to the cage it came out of. Over here, collect the Boxes of Rockets, and hit both switches. Now go through the new opening. In here, hit the switch at the other end of the room. The floor you're on will lower. Down here, hit the switch to your right (and kill the Baron of Hell in front of you). When you hit the switch, get back on the lift, wait for it to rise again, and now leave this room. Now, go back where we killed the Hell Knights again. Back in here, go through the same opening in the northeast part of this room. In here, go through the new opening to your left. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes, get their Chainguns, get the Health and the BFG, and hit the switch on the Demon Head picture. With the switch hit, head back to the starting room again. Another Cyberdemon has been released. Kill it, and go to the cage it came out of. Over here, collect all of the Boxes of Rockets, and hit both switches. The door next to you will open. Go through. In here, get to the other end of the room and hit the switch, avoid the Mancubi at first (when you hit the switch, kill them). Now, when you hit the switch, turn around and leave this room. Back out here, get back to the room where all those Hell Knights were. In this room again, go through the new opening in the northwest corner of the room. In here, head down the stairs in front of you. At the bottom, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes to the left and right of you, get the health in here, and hit the switch on the Demon Head picture in this room. Now leave this room, and backtrack to the starting room again. Another Cyberdemon has been released. Kill it, and go to the cage it came out of. Over here, collect the Boxes of Rockets, and hit both switches. The door will now open. Go through. In here, kill all of the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, and then head up either staircase to the left or right. At the top, go through the opening in front of you. In here, go left, and follow this hallway to a switch (get the Berserk too). Hit the switch, and get back to the door we used to enter this room, killing any Demons in your way. When you get to the door, hit the switches to the left and right of it. The door will now open. Leave this room. Back out here, get to the middle of the room, and climb up the spiral stairs to the top of the pillar. When you get to the top, get the Yellow Key. Now jump off the pillar, and open the Yellow Door across from you. Go through. In here, step on the silver teleporter. When you do, the walls around you will lower, revealing Boxes of Rockets. Grab all of them, and leave this room. You'll see a LOAD of Revenants coming at you. Kill all of them, and when they are all dead, with your back on the Yellow Door, go through the new opening to your left. In here, hit the switch in front of you. Now turn around and get to the other end of the room. Over here, go through the opening to your right. In here, step on the exit teleporter. Before you enter the next level, you get a little story: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betcha wondered just what was the hardest level we had ready for ya? Now you know. No one gets out alive. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ******************* Level 32: Go 2 It ******************* Oh boy, this is going to be a fun one. When you start the level, pick up ALL the weapons in front of you, and go through the opening to your left. In here, pick up the BFG and its ammo in front of you, and the walls around you will lower, revealing tons of Mancubi. Kill all of them, and from where the BFG was, go all the way left, and go through the opening in front of you. In here, go left, and go through the opening in front of you. Out here, kill the Cyberdemon in front of you, and go back through the opening. In here, go left, and kill the Arachnotron in front of you, and go through the opening she was in front of. Now follow this hall to an opening, and go through. Out here, go all the way straight, and kill the Arachnotrons and the Spider Mastermind in front of you. When all of the enemies are gone, get to the pillar on the middle of this platform. Hit the switch on this pillar, and it will lower. When it's done lowering, get the Yellow Key. Now, turn around, go straight, and jump off the platform. Down here, go all the way straight, and get to the left of the opening in front of you. Over here (to the left of the opening), check the walls until a hidden door opens. When it opens, go through. In here, turn left, and kill the 2 Archviles. Now, go straight to the other end of the room, and go through the opening to your right (you'll notice that this area is a replica of Level 1 in Doom II). Kill the Mancubus in front of you, and follow this hall to an opening. Over here, turn right, and kill the Cyberdemon in front of you. Now, open the Yellow Door it was in front of. In here, kill the Cyberdemon in front of you, get all the Boxes of Rockets, and get the Red Key. Now turn back around and go through the opening to the left. From here, backtrack to where the secret door was. Open it again. Back out here, go through the opening to your right, and in this room again, go through the opening to your left, and follow this hall to an opening, and go through it. Back in here, kill ALL the Reveants, Archviles, Arachnotrons, and Cyberdemons in front of you. Now, go all the way straight to where the Yellow Key was, and now head up the stairs to your right. Up here, get the Blue Key in front of you, go straight, and drop down off the platform. Back down here, open the secret door in front of you again. In here again, go back through the hall that the Yellow Door was in. Facing the Yellow Door, turn around, go straight, and open the Blue Door in front of you, killing any Revenants or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you open the door, kill the Cyberdemon in front of you, and hit the switch it was in front of. Now turn around, and leave this opening. Now, turn right. You'll see an opening to your right. Go through it. In this room, go all the way straight to the other end of the room, ignoring the Archviles, Cyberdemons, and Barons of Hell you'll see. When you get to the other end of the room, open the Blue Door in front of you. Now open the Red Door, then the Yellow Door. In here, step on the exit teleporter. ******************** Level 16: The Omen ******************** When you start the level, head down the stairs in front of you. At the bottom, head all the way left, onto the Toxic Floor (don't worry, it's not poisonous). In here, go all the way straight. Over here, you should see a lift rising and raising on its own (you can't lower it). When it lowers, go all the way straight (don't ride the lift). Over here, get the Blue Key. Now, turn back around and if the lift is still lowered, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, head all the way left until you get to an opening, killing any Cacodemons, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the opening, go through it. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, and get to the other end of the room. Over here, get the Red Key. Now, turn around, and go straight, killing any teleporting Revenants in your way. Back out here, drop down to the non-toxic toxic floor below you. Down here, go all the way left and get both Shotguns and the ammo, and open the Blue Door near you too. In here, get to the other end of the room. Over here, get the Yellow Key, turn around, and leave this room, killing any Spectres and Archviles in your way. Back out here, get to where the Blue Key was. Over here, open the door to your left, killing any Revenants, Mancubi, or Archviles in your way. In here, kill ALL the Heavy Weapon Dudes and Shotgun Guys in front of you. When all of them are dead, walk to the center of the room, and turn right. You'll see platforms rise and drop. Get on one of the platforms that is rising, and when it finishes rising to the top, look right. Cross across the platforms until you see an opening to your right. Go through it. Over here, open the Red Bars, and hit the switch in front of you. Now turn around, and drop down to the floor below you. Down here, take the teleporter in the middle of the room. When you teleport, go straight, and take the exit teleoporter. ******************** Level 17: Compound ******************** You better have a decent amount of health when you start this level, otherwise you'll be in serious ****. When you start the level, walk into the toxic pit in front of you. In here, hit the switch. To the left is a wall opening, revealing an opening. Go through it. In here, kill the Imps on the platform, and take the stairs to get to the platform. Up here, get the health, the Super Shotgun, and the Radiation Suit. Now, once you get the Radiation Suit, drop down to the toxic floor. Down here, turn around. You'll see two openings. Go through the one on the right. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes on the platforms. Now, from the opening you came out of, head straight. You'll see 3 openings to your right blocked by barrels. Destroy the barrels to clear the way. But, you can't reach the openings yet, so turn right, facing the opening. You'll see a switch to the right of it. Hit it, killing the Spectres in your way. Now, turn around. Use either platform in front of you to get to a higher platform. Whichever one you go on, follow it to an opening. Get in center with the opening, back up, and *run* straight to get to the opening. In here, kill the Shotgun Guys, and head all the way left. Over here, follow this hallway to the Red Key, killing any Hell Knights, Zombiemen, or Shotgun Guys in your way. When you have the Red Key, backtrack all the way back to the opening you used to enter this room. Go back through it, and head in the slime pit. Now go left, and go through any of the 3 openings that were blocked by barrels. In here, go straight. You'll see 3 more openings blocked by barrels. Blow up all the barrels, and with your back against the opening, head left and get on the normal floor. Over here, open the Red Door. In here, head upstairs. At the top, follow this hall to an opening to your left, killing any Cacodemons, Heavy Weapon Dudes, Shotgun Guys, or Arachnotrons in your way. When you see the opening to your left, go through it. In here, go left, and hit the switch in front of you. Now leave this room (watch out for the Imps teleporting at you). Back out here, follow this hall to the right until you see an opening to your left. Go through it. In here, *run* across the platforms until you get the Yellow Key. With the Yellow Key, open the Red Door again. Back in here, follow this hall until you get to a switch, killing any Imps, Archviles, or Barons of Hell in your way. When you get to the switch, hit it. Now backtrack back to the hall that lead to the Red Key. Instead of going back to the Red Key, with your back against the opening that leads to the slime pit, go through the opening across from you. In here, take the exit teleporter. ************************ Level 18: Neurosphere ************************ When you start the level, *run* straight to get to the opening/room across from you before you're caught in a Imp/Shotgun Guy jam (they teleport right to you, and kill the Imps and Shotgun Guys in your way too). In here, head up the stairs to your left. At the top, kill the Imps and the Shotgun Guys in front of you. Now go all the way straight until you see a window. Go through it, and you will drop down to the ground below you. Down here, head left until you see a staircase to your left, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you see the staircase, head up it. Up here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, and get the Plasma Gun up here. Now turn around, and face the opening. From here, kill the Revenant and the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. When they are dead, get in center with the opening, and *run* straight, passing the opening, onto the platform in front of you (should be gray). When you get on this platform, head right, and head up the stairs in front of you. At the top, kill the Shotgun Guys and Imps in front of you, and also get the Red Key. Now turn around and head back down the stairs. Down here, get back on the platform to your left (kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes around you too). On the platform, go straight, and head through the opening across from you. Back in here, go all the way right until you get to the Red Door, killing any Zombiemen, Imps, Shotgun Guys, Archviles, or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the Red Door, open it. Now, hit the switch in front of you. Now turn around, and go all the way straight until you get to an opening. Go through it. In here, get in center with the window in front of you. Now, kill the Zombiemen, Imps, and the Mancubus in front of you. Now, *run* to get to the platform they were on. Over here, go through the opening in front of you. In here, head left until you get to the door across from you. When you get to the door, open it. In here, kill the Arachnotron in front of you, and hit the switch to your right. Now turn around. The bars behind you have lowered. In here, head up the stairs, go straight, and go through the opening to your left. In here, kill the Hell Knights, Archviles, Revenants, and Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When they are all dead, get the Blue Key. Once you have the Blue Key, turn around, go right, and leave this room. Back out here, go all the way left. Over here, open the Blue Door. In here, take the teleporter in front of you. When you teleport, go all the way straight and get to the other end of the room, killing any Zombiemen in your way. Over here, head left and go through the opening in front of you. In here, follow this hallway until you get to an opening. Now, kill the Heavy Weapon Dude on the platform in front of you. When it's dead, get in center with the opening, and *run* straight to get on the platform he was on. On this platform, hit the switch. Now turn back around, get in center with the opening again, and *run* straight to get back through the opening. Back in here, go all the way straight until you see an opening across from you. Go through it, and in here, step on the exit teleporter. *************** Level 19: NME *************** Hehe, pronounce the name of this level and you get "Enemy". When you start the level, take the teleporter in front of you. In here, head straight and over here, go all the way left and cross this blood pool, killing any Imps in your way. Over here, hit the switch on the wall you're facing. A new opening to the left will open, revealing a teleporter. Take the teleporter, killing any teleporting enemies in your way. When you teleport, drop down to the floor below you, and go through the opening to your left. In here, go through the opening to your right, and in this thin hallway, *run* to the opening across from you (watch out for the walls lowering, revealing Imps. In here, get the Yellow Key in the center of the room. Now turn around and leave this room before you're caught in a major Archvile/Revenant (or other enemies) teleporting jam. Back in this hallway, Get to the end of it and go through the opening, killing any Imps in your back. Back in this room, kill all the Demons, Shotgun Guys, Zombiemen, Cacodemons, Pain Elementals, and Revenants in front of you. When they are all dead, head up the stairs in the center of the room. Up here, turn around and open the door in front of you (it's the Yellow Door). In here, go straight and take the teleporter in front of you. When you teleport, kill the 2 Heavy Weapon Dudes and the Revenant in front of you, and take the teleporter at the other end of the room. When you teleport, kill the Zombiemen, Shotgun Guys, Imps, and the Archvile in front of you. When they are all dead, hit the only switch in this room. Now, turn around and take the teleporter again. When you teleport, you'll see a new window in front of you, revealing a Cyberdemon. Kill the Cyberdemon (it can only stay where it is). Now, once he's dead, face the Yellow Door, and turn left. You'll see a new opening, revealing a teleporter. Go through the teleporter. When you teleport, hit the switch to your left (you're where the Cyberdemon was). Once you hit the switch, turn around and face the window, and go through it. Down here, head through the opening to your left. In here, follow this hall until you get to a door to your right, killing any Zombiemen or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the door, open it. In here, step on the exit teleporter. **************************** Level 20: The Death Domain **************************** When you start the level, get to the other end of the room, killing any Arachntrons in your way. On this part of the room, hit the switch on the wall. Now go through the opening to your left, and head down the stairs. Down here, follow this hall to the right until you see an opening to your left, killing any Imps in your way. Go through it. In here, hit the switch to your left, and the lift to your right will lower. Get on it, and as you're riding, you'll see an opening to your left. Go through it. In here, head straight to get to the switch in front of you, killing the Demons in your way. When you get to the switch, hit it. Now turn around and go straight until you get to the end of the room you're in. Now look straight. You should see an opening below you. Go straight and you should land on the platform it's on. Down here, go through the opening in front of you, killing the Zombiemen, Shotgun Guys, and the Heavy Weapon Dudes I front of you. Now, go straight, and the walls in front of you will lower, revealing Hell Knights and an Archvile. Kill all of them, and in the northwest part of this room is a switch. Hit it, and turn around. The door in the hallway has lowered, so go through. In here, head up the stairs in front of you. At the top, go straight, and the floor in front of you will raise, revealing Heavy Weapon Dudes. Kill them all, and go through the door in this room. In here, go right until you see an opening, killing the Spectres in your way. When you see the opening go through it. In here, head up the stairs. At the top, go all the way right to the other end of the room, killing the Heavy Weapon Dudes and the Arachnotrons in your way. When you get to the other end of the room, go through the opening to your right. In here, follow this hall to the left until you see an opening to your left, revealing the Yellow Key. Take it. Now, keep going right and the floor you're on will drop. Down here, go straight and go through the opening in front of you. In here, turn around, and you'll see two openings with Barons of Hell in them. Kill them all (watch out, they teleport a lot), and when they are all dead, blow up the barrels in this room (you'll need to), and now from where the Barons came out, go through the opening to the right. In here, hit the switch. Now go back where the barrels where, and you'll see parts of the wall have lowered (the wall was in between the barrels). Now, with the new gap you can go through, *run* straight to get to the pit in front of you that has a toxic floor (it isn't poisonous though). If you get to the pit (if not, open the Yellow Door in this room, kill the Hell Knights in it, and use the stairs to get back to the ledge), kill the Revenants in it, and get the Blue Key. Once you get the Blue Key, you will be teleported. Now, you'll be teleported to the other pit. In here, kill the Revenants in front of you and go straight. You will be teleported. You'll be standing on a Berserk pack. Now, open the Blue Door to your right. In here, head up the stairs. At the top, kill all the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. Now, from the top of the stairs, turn around and face the stairs. There will be a door to the right of you. Shoot it with your Pistol, Fist, Chainsaw, either Shotgun, or Chaingun and it will open, revealing a MegaSphere. With the MegaSphere, turn around, and go through the opening to your right. In here, step on the exit teleporter. Now, before you enter the next level, you get a little story: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You've bashed and battered your way into the heart of the Devil-Hive. Time for a search-and-destroy mission, aimed at the gatekeeper, who's foul offspring is cascading to Earth. Yeah, he's bad. But you know who's worse! Grinning evilly, you check your gear, and get ready to give the bastard a little Hell of your own making! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ****************** Level 21: Slayer ******************* When you start the level, get to the platform to your left. On here, get the Plasma Gun and the Soulsphere. Now, facing the edge of the platform, get to the right of the platform and drop down to the lava. Down here, head right to the wall (it's a lift) in front of you, killing the Spectres in your way. Lower the lift, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, head left, and follow either pathway up here to an opening, killing any Shotgun Guys, Imps, or Pain Elementals in your way. When you see the opening, go through it. In here, go right to the other end of the room, killing any Zombiemen, Imps, or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the other end of the room, hit the switch, turn around, and leave this room. Back out here, get to the other end of the room, killing the enemies in your way. Over here, go through the opening. In here, go through the opening to your left, and in here, get to the other end of the room, killing any Shotgun Guys or Imps in your way. Over here, hit the switch, turn around, and go through the teleporter. When you teleport, take this pathway to the MegaSphere on the pillar. Get the MegaSphere, and get on the other pathway. Over here, follow this pathway to the Red Key, killing any Cacodemons, Pain Elementals, or Archviles in your way. When you get the Red Key, the pathway you're on will lower. Now turn around, and *RUN* to get back where the MegaSphere was. Over here, get back on the pathway that is not lowering. Now, turn left, to face two more pathways. Kill ALL the enemies in front of you, and follow the right pathway to an opening. When you see it, go through it. In here, open the Red Door to your right, and hit the switch in front of you. Now, leave this room, and back out here, follow the left pathway to an opening to your left, killing any enemies in your way. When you see the opening, go through it. In here, go straight to the exit teleporter (watch out for the Baron of Hell that pops up). Once you get to the exit teleporter, step on it. ****************************** Level 22: Impossible Mission ****************************** ******************************************************************************* Note that in this level are green toxic floors in most areas of the map. Don't worry, none of these green toxic floors will hurt you when you step on them, even without a Radiation Suit. ******************************************************************************* When you start the level, walk up to the floor in front of you, and it will lower. Down here, collect the Stimpacks and the Health Bonuses, and go all the way right to the opening across from you. Go through it, and head up the stairs. Up here, turn around. You'll see an opening to your left. Go through it, and follow this hallway to a gap. When you get to the gap drop down it. Down here, you'll see a row of Heavy Weapon Dudes, a row of Barrels, and a Hell Knight in front of you. Don't fire your gun and let the Hell Knight try to attack you. Instead, it will hit the barrels, and they will blow up, blowing up the Heavy Weapon Dudes as well. Collect all of their Chainguns, and kill the Hell Knight. Now go through the opening at the other end of the room (don't worry, the floor in here isn't poisonous). In here, get the Blue Key, and the floor you're on will lower. Down here, kill the Shotgun Guys, get their Shotguns, and get the Energy Cells down here. Now hit the switch in this room and the wall will lower, revealing a teleporter. Take it. When you teleport, drop down to the floor below you. Back in this room, go through the opening and head down the stairs to front of you. Back down here, go through the opening to your left. In here, follow the left hand wall to an opening. When you see it, go through it. In this small room, go through the opening to your right. In here, follow the right hand wall to a pedestal with a switch on it. When you get to the switch, hit it. Now, turn around and follow the left hand wall to an opening, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes, Shotgun Guys, or Hell Knights in your way. When you get to the opening, go through it. In here, go through the opening to your right. In here, pick up the Rocket Launcher in front of you and the floor you're on will lower, revealing an opening. Go through it. In here, try to follow this pathway to the Yellow Key. While you try to get to the Yellow Key, the pathway you're on will lower. Now, drop down to the pit to your right. Down here, kill the Revenant in front of you and go through the opening to your right. In here, head up the stairs in front of you. At the top, go through the opening to your right. In here, follow this walkway to a stair. When you get to it, use it to get to the platform just above you. Up here, kill the Arachnotron and hit the switch. Now go back down the stairs, killing any Revenants, Lost Souls, Pain Elementals, or Demons in your way. At the bottom go through the opening. Back out here, kill the Revenant on the teleporter and take it. When you teleport, you'll be in front of the pathway (it's back). Now follow this pathway to the Yellow Key, killing the Baron of Hell in your way. When you get to the Yellow Key, pick it up. Now, turn around, and drop down in the same gap again. Back down here, get to the teleporter. Before taking it, hit the switch on the pedestal next to it. Now, take the teleporter. When you teleport, turn around, and go through the opening in front of you. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes, and wait for the floor you're on to rise. Back up here, go through the opening. Back in here again, backtrack back to the level's starting room (where the opening leading to the Blue Key was). Back in this room, open the Blue Door across from you. In here, kill the Cacodemons in front of you, and go through the opening at the other end of the room. In here, follow the right hand wall to another room, killing any Mancubi in your way. When you get to the room, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes to your right, and hit the switch to your left. Now, go back to the opening we used to get here. In here again, go through the new opening to your right, killing any Mancubi in your way. In here, follow the left hand wall to a switch, killing any Spectres in your way. When you get to the switch, hit it, and when you hit it, keep following the wall to an opening. When you get to it, go through. In here, go right and lower the lift, get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, kill the Shotgun Guys, and hit the switch on the pedestal. Now drop down to the floor below you, and leave this room. Back in the starting room, backtrack to the room just before the Yellow Key room. In here, hit the switch on the pedestal, and now go through the teleporter to your left. When you teleport, you'll be surrounded by Barons of Hell and an Archvile. Kill them all, and when they are all dead, get the Red Key on the platform you were on (if you fell off, get back to the teleporter and go through). When you have the Red Key, leave this room (use the Blue Door to the right). In here again, open the door across from you (it's the Red Door). In here, head up the stairs in the northwest part of the room. At the top, kill the Revenant, and hit the switch on the pedestal. Now, leave this room from where you came from. Back in here, go through the opening to your left, heading up the stairs. Up here, go through the opening in front of you, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. On this pathway, follow it to another opening. In here, follow this hallway to the exit teleporter, killing any Zombiemen or Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the exit teleporter, step on it. ********************* Level 23: Tombstone ********************* When you start the level, pick up the BFG and the Super Shotgun next to you. Now, go through the east opening in this small room. In here, go through the opening across from you, killing any Zombiemen or Imps in your way. In here, follow the right hand wall until you see a wall to your left, killing any Shotgun Guys or Demons in your way. When you see it, open it, and go through. In here, get to the door at the other end of the room (pick up the Shotgun Shells in front of you, and watch out for the Revenants to your left and right). When you get to the door, open it. In here, get the Blue Key, and leave this room (avoid the Hell Knights and the Barons of Hell). Back in here, get to the other end of the room, open the door, and leave this room. Back in here, follow the right hand wall to the Blue Door (pick up the Clips you'll see). When you get to the Blue Door, open it. In here, go through the opening to your right, killing the Imps in front of you. In here collect the Shotgun Shells and go through the opening at the other end of the room, killing the Demons in your way. In here, take the pathway to your right and follow it to an opening, killing any Demons or Hell Knights in your way. When you get to the opening, go through it. In here, head up the staircase in this room. At the top, kill all the Imps, Shotgun Guys, and Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. Now walk forward, and a pedestal with a switch should rise. Hit the switch, and now drop down to the floor to your right. Down here, go through the opening to your right. In here, follow the left hand wall to a switch (get the Health Bonuses just beyond it). When you get to the switch, hit it, and the wall it's on will lower like a lift. Get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, kill the Revenants in front of you, and get the Yellow Key. Now, drop down to the floor below you. Back down here, go through the opening to your far left. In here, open the Yellow Door in front of you. In here, follow this hall to another Yellow Door, killing the Revenant and getting the health. When you get to the Yellow Door, open it. In here search the walls to your right until you find a hidden door. Once it opens, go through. In here, step on the teleporter to your right, and turn around. The pillar has lowered, revealing a MegaSphere. Grab it, get the Rockets and the Backpack in here, and leave this room. Back in here, go straight and, follow the left hand wall to another room. In here, kill all the Revenants, Spectres, Cacodemons, and Shotgun Guys in this room. Now, from the opening to came out of, hit the switch on the wall to your right. Now turn around, and you'll see two openings (the other one is in the corner of this room). Go through the opening to the left of the opening in front of you, and in here, open the Yellow Door. In here, follow this hallway to an opening, killing any Revenants in your way, and collecting the health/ammo. When you get to the opening, go through it. In here, follow the right hand wall to a switch. When you get to the switch, hit it. Now, turn around, and you'll see two pillars lower, revealing Arch-viles and Revenants. Kill them all (and the Demons, Hell Knights, Cacodemons, and Heavy Weapon Dudes in this room. Once they are all dead, with your back against the switch you hit, go through the opening at the other end of the room. In here, follow this hall to a pit, killing any Pain Elementals in your way. When you get to the pit, drop into it. Down here, kill the Spectres and the Mancubus, get the Red Key, and take the teleporter. When you teleport, turn around, and go through the opening to your left. In here, open the door, and go through. Back in here, head right until you run into a wall, killing the Revenant in your way. When you get to the wall, go in the opening to your right. In here, follow this hall to a door, open it, and go through. In here, go through the opening across from you, and in here, follow the left wall to another opening. When you get to the opening, go through. In here, hit the switch in front of you. Now turn around and go back through the opening. Back out here, go through the opening to your left. In here, go through the opening at the other end of this hall, killing any Cacodemons or Pain Elementals in your way. In here, go through the opening to your left. In here, go through the opening to your right, and in here, hit the switch at the other end of this room, killing any Pain Elementals or Shotgun Guys in your way. When you hit the switch, turn left, and go through the opening across from you. In here, go through the opening at the other end of the room, killing the Revenant in front of you. In here, follow the right hand wall to the Blue Door. When you get to it, open it, and go through. In here, open the Red Door at the other end of the room, killing any Spectres or Cacodemons in your way. When you open the Red Door, go through, and take the teleporter in front of you. In here, step on the exit teleporter in front of you. ****************************** Level 24: The Final Frontier ******************************* When you start the level, turn around, and have your back face the switch. Now go straight through the fake wall, (yes, you can walk through this wall), and you'll get to a secret room. In here, get all the ammo and the Megasphere, and now leave this room, and now hit the switch in front of you. When you do, the floor you're on will lower. Down here, you'll see two cages with Archviles to the left and right of you. Kill both of them, and when they are dead, face the big pit in front of you. You should see a spiral staircase to your left made out of thin platforms. Cross the staircase carefully, and when you get to the top, kill the Revenant in front of you, get the Plasma Gun, the Box of Rockets, and the Medikits here. Now take the teleporter. When you teleport, walk up to the wall in front of you, and it will open, so go through. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, and then follow this hall to an opening, collecting the ammo you see. When you get to the opening, go through. In here, kill the Revenant in front of you, and get to the other end of the pathway you're on. Once you get to the other side of this pathway, *run* straight to get to the platform in front of you. When you get on the platform, kill all the Pain Elementals and Cacodemons around you, then, when they are all gone (and the Lost Souls), hit both switches, then kill the Archvile that appears. When it's dead, wait for the pathway to finish rising in the southwest part of this platform (kill any enemies around you). When it's done rising, cross it to the new opening. In here, kill the Revenant in front of you, collect all the health and ammo in here, and go through the other opening in this room. In here, turn around and face the opening. Hit the switch to the left of it, then head right and follow the pathway in front of you until you see a switch to your left, killing any Shotgun Guys, Heavy Weapon Dudes, Barons of Hell, or Cacodemons in your way. When you see the switch to your left, hit it, then the lift to your right will lower. Now, face right, and drop down to the floor below you. Down here, kill all the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, and get the Radiation Suit in here. Now, go through the opening in this room, heading in the toxic pit. In here, go through the opening in the northwest part of this room. When you go through the opening, get the Soulsphere in front of you, and head up the stairs. At the top, go through the opening in front of you, and get the Blue Key in front of you. Now, drop back down into the pit, and go back in the opening in the southwest part of this pit. Back in here, kill the Archvile in front of you (and any of the Heavy Weapon Dudes it revived), and hit the switch that's in between two Blue Lights. When you hit it, the wall in front of you will lower, revealing a teleporter. Take it. When you teleport, step on the teleporter you're on again (be quick, there's a Cyberdemon in front of you), and when you teleport, you'll be in front of the exit teleporter instead. Step on it before the Cyberdemon shoots you off, and you'll exit this level. ********************************** Level 25: The Temple of Darkness ********************************** When you start the level, follow the left hand wall in front of you until you get to a staircase. When you get to the staircase, head up it. At the top, head left, and follow the right hand wall until you get to a switch, killing any Shotgun Guys in your way. When you get to the switch, hit it. Now, turn around, and drop down to the floor below. Back down here, go through either opening in the north part of this room. In here, go in either opening in the building at the center of the room. In here, follow the hall you're in until you see a staircase to your left/right, killing the Hell Knights in front of you. When you see the staircase, head up it. At the top, go straight, and go through the teleporter in front of you. In here, walk straight, and you'll see six staircases rise in front of you (3 to your left, 3 to your right). Head up the first one to your left. Up here, there are two alcoves. Go in each of them and follow them to a wall. When you walk up to the wall in front of you in both alcoves, the wall will lower, revealing a switch. Hit it, go to the other alcove, walk up to the wall and it will lower, then hit the switch. Now leave the alcove you're in, and head back the stairs (kill the Hell Knights around you too). Back down here, head up any staircase in front of you. At the top, go through either alcove, walk up to the wall in front of you, and it will lower, revealing a switch. Hit it. Now, go through the other alcove, walk up to the wall, it will lower, revealing another switch. Hit it, then leave this alcove, and head back down the stairs. Down here, go through either opening in the south part of this room, killing any Hell Knights or Barons of Hell in your way. Now, when you go through either opening, follow it to another room (both openings lead to the same room). Now, when you get to the room, hit the switch in it. Now turn around, and go through the teleporter in front of you. In here, kill the Revenants in front of you, and go through the opening to your right. In here, follow this hall to another opening (get the Berserk), and go through it. In here, slowly head down the spiral stairs in front of you until you get to an opening. When you get to the opening, *run* straight to get in it. In here, follow this hall to another opening, killing any Imps in your way. When you get to the opening, go through it. In here, hit the switch to your right and get the Yellow Key to your left. Now, leave this opening, and follow this hall back to the opening you took to get in here. Facing the opening, *run* straight to get to the spiral staircase in front of you. Now, head right back up the spiral staircase. At the top, go through the opening in front of you, and face right. Back in here, go through the new opening to your right. Follow this pathway to another room. In here, kill the Imps and the Revenants in front of you, and get the Blue Key near the cages with Heavy Weapon Dudes in them (kill them too). When you have the Blue Key, get to the two platforms the Revenants were on in this room. You'll notice that one of the platforms has blood on it. Get in front of the blood, and press the Spacebar, and the platform will lower, revealing an Energy Cell Pack. Get it, and go to the other lowered platform. Over here, get the other Energy Cell Pack and hit the switch (if the platform raised again, just lower it). When all that's done, cross the pathway again, and head back into the opening. Back in here, head up the stairs in front of you. At the top, follow the right hand wall into a room with Boxes of Bullets and Shells, and Health Bonuses. Grab all of them. Now, go through the opening in the south part of this room. In here, take either pathway to your left or right to get to the other end of the room, killing any Arachnotrons in your way. When you get to the other end of the room, hit the switch over here, and it will open like a door, so go through. In here, hit the switch. Now leave this room. Back out here, use either pathway again to get to the other end of the room. Over here again, use the new pathway to get the Red Key in the center of the room. When you have the Red Key, face left, and drop down to the pit below you. Down here, go through the opening across from you. In here, kill the Revenants, and get the Radiation Suit and the Megasphere. Now, leave this small room. Back out here, follow the left hand wall to a teleporter, killing any Mancubi in your way. Once you get to the teleporter, turn around. You'll see an opening to your left and right. Go through both of them, and hit the switch in both openings (watch out for the Revenants). Now, get back to the teleporter, and go through. When you teleport, follow the right hand wall to a pair of Red Bars. Press the Spacebar on them, and they will open like a door. Now go through into the room. In here, hit the switch on the pedestal. Now leave this room. Back out here, you'll see that stairs have raised to the platform in the center of the room. Use these stairs to get to the platform, and on here, take the exit teleporter. ****************** Level 26: Bunker ****************** When you start the level, go through the opening in front of you, and head down the stairs. Down here, follow the right hand wall to a pit. When you get to the pit, drop down it, and go through the opening to your right. In here, follow this hall until you see a staircase to your left, killing any Imps or Cacodemons in your way. When you see the staircase to your left, head up it, and open the door in front of you. In here, go up the stairs to your left. In here, go through the opening across from you. In here, go straight and you should see the wall to your right lower, revealing Heavy Weapon Dudes and a switch. Kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes, get their Chainguns, and hit the switch. Now, leave this room. Back in here, go all the way straight and go through the opening at the other end of this room. In here, follow the left hand wall to an opening. When you get to it, go through it. In here, go straight, and go through the opening across from you (you should be in the room with the Megasphere). In here, follow the right hand wall to the Red Key. When you have the Red Key, leave the room you got it in. Back in here, follow the right hand wall to a staircase. When you get to it, head up it. At the top, go through the opening to your right. In here, turn right, then head down to the pit below you. Down here, go all the way straight, and follow this hall until you see an opening to your left. When you see the opening, go through it. In here, walk up to the wall in front of you, and it will lower like a lift. Get on it, and ride it to the top. Up here, go right to the wall in front of you and it will lower, revealing an opening, so go through. In here, get to the other end of the room. Over here, hit the switch on the wall. Now, drop down to the pit to your right. Down here, go through the opening to your left. In here, follow the right hand wall to a staircase. When you get to it, head up it. Up here, follow the right hand wall back into the room with the Megasphere. Back in this room, go back through the same opening in the west part of this room. In here again, go left, and head up the stairs in front of you again. At the top, go through the opening to your right. In here, *run* all the way straight to get to the platform in front of you. When you get on the platform, you should be near/around the exit teleporter, and you should see two openings leading to it (one north of the teleporter and one south of the teleporter, which is blocked off by Blue Bars). So go through the north opening to get to the exit teleporter, then step on it. ************************ Level 27: Anti-Christ ************************ When you start the level, go straight, and get the Soulsphere in front of you. Now, there will be a new opening in front of you, to the left, and to the right. Go through the new opening to your left, killing any Pain Elementals or Hell Knights in your way. In here, follow this hall to an opening. When you get to the opening, you should see another platform with a teleporter in front of you. *Run* straight to get to the platform, and kill the Heavy Weapon Dude on it. Once you get on the platform, step on the teleporter. When you teleport, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you, hit the switch, get the ammo and health in here, and go back through the teleporter. You'll be teleported back to the level's starting point. Go all the way straight to where the Soulsphere was. Now, go through the opening in front of you, killing any Hell Knights or Pain Elementals in your way. When you go in the opening, follow the left hand wall to a pathway. When you get to the pathway, follow it to the Yellow Key. Get the Yellow Key, and now use the pathway to get back to the other room. Back in here, go through the opening in front of you. In here, get the Backpack, and the wall in front of you will lower, revealing a teleporter. Take it. When you teleport, follow the pathway to your left to the Yellow Door. When you get to the Yellow Door, open it. In here, follow the right hand wall to a Berserk. Get it, and get on the platform to the left of it. Now, you should see a platform with a Revenant on it. Kill it, and *run* to get to the platform it was on. On here, take the teleporter. When you teleport, turn right, and you should see a platform with a switch just below it. Drop down to the platform, and hit the switch. Now, take the teleporter to your left. When you teleport, go straight to the other end of the room. Over here, take the teleporter. When you teleport, kill the Revenant in front of you, and now get the Blue Key in front of you. Now, go back through the teleporter before loads of monsters get teleported into this room. When you teleport, get onto the pathway to your left. On the pathway, follow the right hand wall to an opening, killing any Barons of Hell in your way. When you get into the opening, get in front of the opening at the other end of this room. Now, wait for a pathway in front of you to finish rising. When it's done, cross this pathway to another platform. On here, kill/avoid the Spider Mastermind in front of you, and hit the switch on this platform. When you hit the switch, the Blue Bars behind the switch will open, revealing a Berserk and the exit teleporter. Get the Berserk, and step on the exit teleporter. ********************** Level 28: The Sewers ********************** When you start the level, open the door to your left. In here, get to the middle of the room, and turn right. You should see part of a floor in between two torches. Step on the floor between two torches, and it will lower. Down here, hit the switch in this room, and the wall to your right will lower, revealing a new opening. Go through it. In here, press the Spacebar on the Black "flag", and it will open like a door, so go through. In here, get all the Plasma Guns and Super Shotguns, and leave this room. Back in here, hit the switch in this room. When you hit the switch, walls in front of you will lower, revealing new openings. Go through any of the new openings. In here, hit the switch in the opening across from you. When you hit the switch, walls to the left and right of you will lower, revealing Revenants, Barons of Hell, and Hell Knights. Kill them all, then get the Yellow Key in the south part of this room. Now, go through the opening where the Hell Knights, Revenants, and Barons of Hell came out of. In here, hit the switch, and the wall in front of you will lower, revealing an Archvile, and another opening. Kill the Archvile, and go through. In here, hit the switch, and leave this room. Back in here, hit the new switch in the middle of this room, and walls in front of you will lower, revealing openings. Go through either one. In here, kill the Revenants in the corners of this room. When they are dead, press the Spacebar on the walls in the south part of this room, and the wall should open, revealing a new room. Go through. In here, kill the Mancubus in front of you, and collect the ammo and the armor in here. Now leave this room. Back in here, go through the opening in the east part of this room. In here, lower the lift in the northeast part of the room, get on it, and ride it to the top. Back up here, follow the right hand wall to an opening. When you get to the opening go through. In here, cross the platforms in front of you to get to two switches, killing the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. When you get to the two switches, hit them. Now, drop down to the floor below you. Down here, Go through either opening to the left or right of the opening in the middle, then follow the hall you're in to another room. In here, open the door in the southeast part of this room, and go through. In here, get the Red Key, and leave this room. Back in here, go through the opening in the west part of this room, killing any Mancubi in your way. In here, follow the right hand wall until you get to a room that has a glowing wall in it. Walk through the glowing wall, and you'll be teleported. When you teleport, go all the way straight into the opening across from you. In here, follow the left hand wall until you get to an opening, and go through. In here, open the Red Door in front of you, get the Soulsphere, and hit the switch. Now, leave this room. Back in here, go through the new opening in the west part of the room, killing any Imps, Demons, Hell Knights, or Revenants in your way. In here, go all the way straight into the opening across from room. In here, grab a Radiation Suit, then go through the opening in the southeast part of this room. In here, follow the left hand wall to an opening, and go through. In here, hit the switch at the other end of this room, then leave this room. Back in here, kill the Baron of Hell in front of you, and go through the new opening to your left. In here, kill the two Hell Knights in front of you, then follow the left hand wall to an opening, killing any Arachnotrons in your way. When you get to the opening, go through it. In here, get the Blue Key in the middle of the room. Now, go straight, and the wall in front of you will lower, revealing a new opening. Go through. In here, hit the switch, and get the Megasphere on the other side of this wall. Now, leave this room. Back in here, kill all the Demons, Imps, Shotgun Guys, and Hell Knights teleporting into this room, then leave this room. Back in here, backtrack all the way back to the room that had the Red Door. Back in this room, kill all the Revenants, Demons, Hell Knights, Mancubi in front of you. Now, go through the opening in the north part of this room. In here, open the Blue Door to your left, and go through. In here, walk up to the floor in front of you and it will lower. Down here, go straight and get to the other end of this room, and open the Yellow Door. In here, step on the exit teleporter. ***************************** Level 29: Odyssey of Noises ***************************** You start the level standing on a Backpack. Get all the ammo and health here, and open the door in this room, and go through. Out here, you'll see that this level is made up of streets and buildings (I call this level The Streets of Romero). From where you are, go left until you see a new street to your left. Take it. Over here, keep going straight until you get to the pit in front of you (watch out for the Cyberdemon's rockets). When you get to the pit, turn right, and you should see a passage. Go through it. Now, follow the small fence/wall to your left until you get to a door. When you get to the door, open it, and go through. In here, head up the stairs to your left. At the top, kill the Arachnotron in front of you, and head up the stairs to your right. At the top, walk up to the door in front of you. It will lower, so go through. In here, kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes in front of you. Now, follow the left hand wall to a door. When you get to the door, open it. Now, get the Red Key in front of you, and leave this small room. Back in here, kill the new Archvile, and go in the opening it came out of, and hit the switch. Now turn around, and open the door to your left, and leave this room. Back out here, head down the stairs in front of you to get back down to the platform. Back down here, head down the stairs to your left. Down here, again, open the door to your right, and go through. Out here, go back through the small passage to your right, and follow it to a street. When you get to the street, go all the way left until you see a street to your right and left. Take the street to your right until you see another street to your left. Go to that street. Now, from where you are, go straight until you see an opening to your right. Go in it. In here, go straight until you see another opening to your right. When you see it, go in it. In here, head up the stairs. At the top, follow the right hand wall to an opening, killing any Heavy Weapon Dudes in your way. When you get to the opening go in it. In here, *run* straight to get to the platform across from you. In here, get to the opening across from you, and *run* through it to get to another platform. On here, get the Yellow Key in the northwest part of this platform. Now, drop down to the street below you. Down here, go through the opening across from you. In here, go all the way straight until you get to a wall. When you get to the wall across from you, turn left. Now, follow this right hand wall until you get to a street. When you get to the street, go straight, and open the Yellow Door across from you, and go through. In here, hit the switch in front of you, and leave this room (watch out for the Revenants). Back out here, get back on the street, and go all the way right until you get to a 4-way intersection. When you get to it, take the street to the left, and keep going left until you see another street to your right. Take the street to your right. Now, go all the way straight until you see a door to your left (skip the one just on the edge of the street, not the one near the pit). When you see another door to your left, open it. In here, get the Blue Key, and leave this room. Back out here, get back on the street, and go all the way right until you see a street to your right and left. Take the street to your right, and keep going straight until you see another street to your left. Take that street. Over here, keep going straight until you see an opening (in a building) to your left. When you see the opening, go through it. In here, head up the stairs in front of you. At the top, kill the Revenants and the Imps in front of you. Now, get in center with the platform in front of you, and *run* straight over the gap to get to the platform. Now, turn left, and *run* to get to the next platform across from you. Keep running across these platforms until you get to the Blue Door, killing any Imps or Revenants in your way. When you get to the Blue Door, open it. In here, hit both switches in this room, and leave. Back out here, turn left, and jump off this platform. Down here, go all the way left until you see another street to your left. When you get to it, go on that street. Now, go all the way straight until you bump into the wall way across from you. When you run into the wall, turn around, facing straight. See that brown building to your right? There is an opening in it. Go through the opening, and head up the stairs. At the top, turn right. Cross the platforms in front of you to get to the exit teleporter. ******************************* Level 30: The Gateway of Hell ******************************* Congratulations, you've made it to the final level of Plutonia! Now, collect ALL the ammo, weapons, and the Megasphere in this room. Now, go through the opening in here, and drop down to the floor below you. Down here, turn right. See that opening? Walk through it, and you'll be teleported. When you teleport, the floor you're on will raise. When it's finished raising, go through the opening across from you (watch out for the Archviles). In here, walk forward, and the wall in front of you will lower, revealing another opening (kill the Heavy Weapon Dudes in the cages). When the wall's done lowering, go through the new opening. In here, drop down in the small pit in the center of the room (not the lava pit). In this pit, kill the Cyberdemon on the platform (you'll need to in order to kill the final boss). When the Cyberdemon's dead, you'll notice a pillar and two switches in this pit. Hit the switch on the east part of the switch first. The pillar will rise just a little. Now, hit the other switch, the pillar will lower. Get on it. Now, the final boss is the huge demon head on the wall, so when you get on the pillar, face the wall where the final boss is. Pull out your Rocket Launcher (it's the only weapon that can defeat the final boss). Also, the final boss will shoot skull boxes from his brain, and it will turn into a monster (it won't be a Zombieman, Shotgun Guy, Heavy Weapon Dude, Lost Soul, Spider Mastermind, or a Cyberdemon) Now, wait for the pillar to rise. Once it rises and you can see the final boss, time your Rockets just right so they will go through the green hole where his brain is. If the Rocket goes through the brain, you'll hear a loud scream. Even if you miss, hit the switch to lower the pillar, and try again. Now, it should take 3 hits to kill the final boss (the wall will explode if you kill him). Or, it can take 2 hits to kill it. Anyway, keep firing rockets through his brain until he dies. Once you defeat him, congratulations! Now, you get a little story: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Gatekeeper's face is splattered all over the place. As its tattered corpse collapses an inverted gate forms and sucks down the shards of the last prototype accelerator, not to mention the few remaining demons. You're done. Hell has gone back to pounding bad dead folks instead of good live ones. Remember to tell your grandkids to put a Rocket Launcher in your coffin. If you go to Hell when you die, you'll need it for some final cleaning-up... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the story, the cast of enemies comes up, showing their movements, sounds, and all that. Press a key to scroll through each enemy. Woo-Hoo! I'm done with Plutonia now! ^_^ =================== 9. Bugs and Errors =================== This section shows all known bugs and errors I've found. Email me if I miss any! 1. In Level 31: Pharaoh (TNT), the Yellow Key is missing from the level, preventing further progress into the level. There is a way to exit the level without using any Key. My Walkthrough shows how to exit the level without any keys, because the odds are your Final Doom (TNT) won't have the Yellow Key in Pharaoh. If you want to try the level with all 3 Keys, go to www.teamtnt.com and go to Bugs and Fixes. Download the patch to fix this error (tnt31.wad), then, when before you play Pharaoh, use tnt.wad as the PWAD and tnt31.wad as one of the iwads, then the error is fixed (as long as you're using the Iwad). If you want a Walkthrough using all 3 Keys ask me. 2. In Level 30: Last Call (TNT), there is another major error. In some versions of TNT, whenever you hit the switch in the Red Key room, the stairs to the Red Key may not rise completely, so the only way to get to the Red Key is to cheat. www.teamtnt.com has a patch to fix this error as well. 3. In Level 26: Bunker (Plutonia), the maximum % score for secrets is 75% because a secret was put on a teleporter, and the player cannot get credit for the secret before getting teleported. 4. In Level 28: The Sewers (Plutonia), you cannot get a 100% items score because in the "4 way intersection hall" there are 2 Automaps. You can only pick up one of them (doesn't matter which), and not the other. Automaps also count towards your item score. 5. Level 28: Heck (TNT), just before you go in the pit with the Yellow Key, a platform in front of you which is a lift rises, revealing an Arch-vile. If you run straight to the pit before the platform rises to you, the platform may not rise, and in the pit (where the Yellow Key is), you won't be able to get out of it because the platform didn't rise, so you can't lower it. =========== 10.
