Skip Intro Sequences:
 In Vagrant Story for the first generation playstation one can skip the introductory cinema that
introduces the plot and shows Ashley arriving at
the manor.  This can be done by pressing the start button a few seconds after the first view of the
manor fades into view fully.  (The screen with
the rain and the location/time subtitle)  This will bring the player to the
second intro that begins with a quote.  If the start button is pressed again
at this screen the game will skip ahead once more and show the playable
Ashley sprite inside the wine cellar.  This trick skips about ten minutes of
exposition and also skips the battles with the two guards and the Wyvern. Nice time saver in my
personal opinion.
