UNLOCK CHARACTERS

Luigi:          Complete the Bonus 1 "Break The Target" with the eight
                original characters and one bonus characters. This can
                be done during Bonus 1 practice. Then, beat Luigi. If
                you lose the match, complete Bonus 1 again with any
                character for a rematch.

Captain Falcon: Complete the game as any character on any difficulty
                and number of lives. Then, beat Captain Falcon. Or,
                complete the game in under twenty minutes. Then,
                defeat Captain Falcon.

Purin:          Complete the game as Captain Falcon on any difficulty
                level and number of lives. Then, beat Purin. Or,
                complete the game using any character. Then, defeat
                Purin.

Ness:           (from Earthbound/Mother 2) Complete the game on the
                normal difficulty level and three lives. Then, beat
                Ness.

ALTERNATE COSTUMES
======================================================================
Press C-LEFT, C-RIGHT, C-UP or C-DOWN at the character select screen.

SOUND TEST
======================================================================
Complete Bonus Games 1 and 2 with all characters, including the
secret ones. This can be done during Bonus 1and 2 practice.

CHANGE CHARACTER VIEW
======================================================================
Hold Z and press the Analogstick at the character biography screen.


======================================================================
ITEM SWITCH
======================================================================
Use any character to record two hundred kills to unlock an item
switch menu. This menu allows various weapons to be toggled and
control the frequency in which they appear. Or, select versus
mode, choose any character for yourself and the three CPU players.
Select "stock" mode, set the number lives to ten, and computer
handicaps to five. Begin the game and win. Enter the options screen
under versus mode to access the items switch selection.

BORROW A LIFE

Begin a team game on vs mode. Press Start if you lose a life to
take a life from your partner. Alternatively, press A, B, Z, START.

LOSE A POWER AS KIRBY
======================================================================
If you want to intentionally lose a power gained after eating
another character as Kirby, press L to do his taunt.

CLASSIC MUSHROOM KINGDOM STAGE
======================================================================
Complete the game with all eight original characters. The Classic
 Mushroom Kingdom stage will be available under versus mode.
